When Neymar’s Brazil won gold in its home Olympics in 2016, Neymar took the podium to receive his gold medal with a headband reading “100% Jesus.” Yet this ostensible display of devotion caused controversy, given the star player’s out of wedlock son and public love life. Fame and fortune are always dangerous to the Christian.
There are those who have two minds because one is wavering or inconstant. This person has no settled principles. He is controlled by passion; he may be influenced by popular feeling. In other words, he is inclined to one opinion or course of conduct, and now to another. “A man is of two minds, unstable in all his ways.” James 1:8
David of the Old Testament commanded that Bathsheba’s husband, Uriah, be put at the front lines of the battle and that the troops be pulled back from him. Just as David had hoped, Uriah was killed. David then took Bathsheba as his wife.
David’s behavior presents a perfect example of a double-minded man. Even though he had God’s Life in his heart and had been “a man after God’s own heart,” he nevertheless chose to go with the tide and follow the lusts of his own flesh over what God was prompting him to do.
A double-minded man is unstable in all his ways. Are you unstable about your relationship to Christ?
If you lack wisdom, you must ask for it.
Prayer was a subject that was on Jesus’ mind constantly. He prayed at least seven times in the Gospel of Luke. Martin Luther said,” to be a Christian without prayer is no more possible than to be alive without breathing.”
Christian prayer is the language of intimacy; it is the loving conversation of a Father and His child, which deepens our relationship with God.
God invites us to come boldly to the Father. We pervert prayer if we make it primarily about getting our needs met, rather than desiring that our Father be honored and obeyed properly. We are not to use the exact precise words of a prayer found in the Gospel. We must not make the mistake of treating God as a servant, whose role is to cater to our every whim.
God introduces the principle of persistence: Keep on asking –“ask… seek knock.” God alone can supply what we need. You must trust Him to give you what you need. Actually God delights in responding to His children’s needs.
Almost all of us have experienced unanswered prayers. God often uses delay to deepen our dependence on Him.
What we really need is God Himself, made real to us through His indwelling Spirit. Paul prayed, “I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know Him better.” Ephesians 1:17 and “I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being”. Ephesians 3:16
God will give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him. He is God’s gift to all believers: “how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!” Luke 11:13
A possible solution to this problem is to find God in the world of creation itself. God can be identified with the rain, wind and sun. What is needed most is the experience of success of prayer. Once we are touched in the depths of our being, we can never be the same again.
God is there for those who seek Him. “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes. Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!” Mark 9:23, 24
It may be true that you have resentment toward God for His way of dealing with people. The only honest prayer is, “Dear God, I am angry… damned angry!”
God can use all your faculties to communicate with you. He can put new ideas in your mind. He can illuminate your mind in order to see Him better. He can inspire us with new desires. He can give us courage. He can stir up our love. He can prevent us from repeating an old mistake. God can also affect a physical and emotional cure to those who are open to Him. All this is possible from the infusion of His grace.

Prayers are mostly about responding with the heart, not with the written word. “I, God, exist and I feel; any call which is lip-service might as well stay buried; lip-services are calls bellowing from graves; remember, I exist and feel; I wish that all My children work, giving Me joy; Mean every word you say in a prayer: any call which is lip service might as well stay buried. God exists and God feels.” September 30, 1986
Discipline is the other side of discipleship. Discipleship without discipline is like waiting to run in the marathon without ever practicing. Discipline without discipleship is like always practicing for the marathon but never participating. It is important, however, to realize that discipline in the spiritual life is not the same as discipline in sports. Discipline in sports is the concentrated effort to master the body so that it can obey the mind better. Discipline in the spiritual life is the concentrated effort to create the space and time where God can become our master and where we can respond freely to God’s guidance.
Thus, discipline is the creation of boundaries that keep time and space open for God. Solitude requires discipline, worship requires discipline, caring for others requires discipline. They all ask us to set apart a time and a place where God’s gracious presence can be acknowledged and responded to. HENRI NOUWEN

Let Your Day be a Continuous Communion with Me.
“I love you.
My friends, you are always in My presence for I am very near to you. The greatest gift I can give you, is the gift of myself. If I live in your heart, then you have a taste of heaven.
Let your day be a continuous communion with Me. You should remind yourself often during the day that I am in your heart and you should speak to Me through acts of faith, hope and love.
Take Me along to your work and I will help you. You will work with a heart full of joy. Trials will come your way from time to time.
With My grace you will go through them without committing sin. It is in trials that you are purified and made the delight of My eyes. You are never tried beyond your means and I strengthen you to go through them.
Arm yourself every day with prayer, prudence and a heart full of love.
Do not let self-pity, pride, discouragement or doubt destroy the wonderful gifts I gave you.
Put your life in Me and I will keep you safe from the evil one. Be humble and rely on Me, I will make you strong. I love you.”

God divinely inspired the BIBLE . How do we know? Each of eight accurate predictions show a high probability mathematically. A prayer of deliverance of evil spirits will leave any member of the family with a complete sense of peace immediately. A prayer of healing from a Christian disciple produces 80% healing. The remaining healing comes from continued prayer of praise and thanksgiving until all the healing is complete. This healing comes from the Holy Spirit through the power in the Name of Jesus Christ. No other god or deity or doctor uses this power. This proves the TRUTH OF CHRISTIANITY.
BILLIONS OF CHRISTIANS CAN’ T ALL BE WRONG!
Christianity is not a philosophy, but it is a relationship with God, your Creator, in Christ TODAY. It is not knowledge of abstract principles. How do we know this? Healing takes place TODAY in the Name of Jesus Christ.
Many Christian disciples use the gift of healing. They also use deliverance to deliver away evil spirits influencing people. These evil spirits cause depression, addictions and illness through all forms of stress. Only the Name of Jesus Christ makes healing and deliverance possible.
HOW IS JESUS STILL ALIVE TODAY?
Jesus is alive today! He heals today (through His followers) and in many cases it is realized immediately. How else can you explain the explosion of Christianity, the world’s largest religion, on earth: 2.2 billion adherents, nearly a third (31 percent) of all 6.9 billion people on Earth.
Christians know and feel His Presence; they communicate with Him personally; Christian prayers are always answered.
This author has been given the Gift of Healing only because he is a Christian Lay Missionary, who travels two to three places every year. On his last trip to Columbia he successfully transferred his Gift to his Spanish translators, who were able to heal as he did. He has healed Muslims to their great surprise.
He also delivers away evil spirits along with their healing. All those who are delivered from evil spirits feel a complete physical sense of peace.
DREAMS AND VISIONS
God can give a message to those non-Christians to change their heart. God knows faith will be developed eventually. God will come to you in the form of dreams or visions. So be sensitive to any dreams or visions, when you ask God for it earnestly.

- Christians don’t brag about success, but they admit that they fail and they need God to clean the mess.
- Christians don’t claim to be perfect, but God still believes in them.
- Christians still feel the sting of pain. They have their share of headaches but they still call upon His Name.
- Christians are not holier than others. They are simple sinners who receive God’s unbelievable Grace.

“If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” Romans 10:9
God the Father will wipe every tear from our eyes, and there shall be no more death or mourning, crying out or pain. We will be like Him, for we will see Him as He is The Holy Spirit will have made all things new. Eternal joy will begin. “For the Mighty One has done great things for me— holy is His name.” Luke 1: 49
Are we not like Barabbas who was justly condemned for murder, but saved by the innocent Jesus on the cross? Are we not like the adulterous woman, deserving of death by stoning, to whom Jesus says, “I do not condemn you”? And Jesus saved them both. In fact, Jesus came to earth specifically to look for and save those who were lost, like you.
“Come now, let us settle the matter,” says the LORD, “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool”. Isaiah 1:18
You may need some counseling with a pastor, priest or competent Christian worker, who will introduce you to a Short Course on Who is Jesus? Start by reading a short biography of Jesus in the Gospel of Luke. Read several verses before going to bed and read the same verse upon arising. He will defend you from attacks of the enemy when you ask Him.
