Do you count yourself in with 100 million Americans who are sleep deprived? The root causes are overcrowded schedules, the desire to accomplish one more thing before retiring and too much stimulation from watching television in bed.
You say that you have arough time falling asleep.Try an Epsom salt bath, which allows the magnesium to be absorbed into your skin and they will put you into a total relaxation mode.
Sleep and relaxation are basic necessities in life. We need sleep: our body needs time for the liver to start its cleansing process and time to allow the proper production of hormones. When we don’t sleep enough, our appetites become unregulated.
The Great Physician has a prescription, “Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He rested from all His work which God had created and made.” Genesis 2:3
Individuals who were extremely obese had higher odds of reporting insomnia than those of normal weight. The prevalence of insomnia among seniors was largely attributable to poorer health, not age.
One elderly lady had always problems with sleeping. She had been heavily involved in yoga when she was younger. There are some dangers with this practice if one delves into too deeply. We call this an ungodly superstitious belief. A crack in a person’s spirit is opened to allow an influence from demonic attack. Deliverance is needed! “…Oppressors seek after my soul: they have not set God before them.”Psalm 54:3
Life stress also kept Canadians up at night, the study says. Nearly one-quarter (23 per cent) of people who described most of their days as being either “quite a bit” or “extremely” stressful reported insomnia.
In the mist of all David’s troubles he still honored and praised God as his protector, his shield, and strength: “But You, O LORD, are a shield about me, My glory, and the One who lifts my head.”Psalm 3: 3
BRAIN HEALTH CAN HELP!
Your brainis the fattest organ in your body. The human brain is nearly 60 percent fat. We’ve learned in recent years thatfatty acidsare among the most crucial molecules that determine your brain’s integrity and ability to perform.Continue reading SLEEP DEPRIVATION→
Two of America’s most active exorcists say there is now a growing demand for their services as more unchurched Americans have been turning to them for help with demonic oppression, possession and other dark spiritual activity.
Father Gary Thomas, from The Rite: The Making of a Modern Exorcist, and Father Vincent Lampert, in the series “Paranormal Witness” commented that the increase in exorcism was caused by:
an expanding spiritual void in the lives of Americans
the diminishing authority of the Church
the failure of the mental healthcare system
They say an overwhelming number of requests that they get from people seeking help are regularly diagnosed as actual manifestations of demonic attachment, infestation, vexation or full possession. Many of the requests for help are not coming from practicing Christians but the unchurched segment of the population. Many of those who seek help are desperate people who have had no success with psychology and psychiatry.
We’re gaining all sorts of knowledge but there’s still that emptiness within us that is being filled with addictive behavior such as drugs and pornography. There’s a line in the Old Testament that says when one grows in knowledge one also grows in despair. “For with much wisdom comes much sorrow; the more knowledge, the more grief.” Ecclesiastes 1: 18
The struggle against evil in society is becoming more of an emergency, and there is a direct cause: horror films, books, and television series which create temptation. Reading “occult books,” watching “occult movies,” can expose people to demonic possession. The most common occult activity is using an Ouija board to summon the dead.
The demand for exorcists in the U.S. appears to be following a global trend some say has been inspired by the leadership of Pope Francis in acknowledging the presence of the devil. Pope Francis has warned in past speeches that Satanism is on the rise in the world, and has praised exorcists for combating “the devil’s works.”
More people are finding out about exorcism because of radio programs like “Light in the Darkness.” in the Philippines. Television programs depict exorcism such as Fox’s “The Exorcist”.
The few people, who are possessed, may lose consciousness and they may even speak strange languages. Very well-mannered people may begin to vomit and blaspheme. Some may have inordinate strength.
Most people are not possessed in this way, but they can be influenced by the devil in subtle ways. They feel really bad. There are sign posts:
In Alcoholic Anonymous they have asaying for insanity: trying to do the same thing over and over again and expect a different result. We are often guilty of insane behavior.
First we must identify what our real needs are. For example, caring for children can mask the need to care for ourselves. We can get stuck trying to meet false needs.
There are four essential needs
Affirmation: we need to be acknowledged and appreciated.
We need to express love: to hug and share.
We need to share our emotions and our experiences: what we think and what we feel.
We need to grow; we need space and opportunity to grow.
JESUS WISHES TO SPEAK TO YOU
I have Defeated the Devil.
“I love you.
Come and join Me in the desert. I am here in a large cave where I spend My days with the Father in prayer. I am getting ready to begin My public life to bring the Good News to the people. Here in the desert I was tempted by the devil three times.
Healingis a present promise of God that one appropriates by faith.
Spirituality is the personal quest for understanding answers to ultimate questions about life, about meaning, and about relationship to the sacred or transcendent, which may (or may not) lead to or arise to religion.
These promises are of God, the promises are clearly stated in the Bible to all people that Christ will heal everyone who believes: “And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he has committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.”James 5:15
Moreover, the promises made by God cannot be broken. It is the faith that one has to receive the healing that is promised in the Word: “But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed”.Isaiah: 53:5 Instead of walking by natural human faith, you walk by Bible faith”. (MacNutt 103)
Actually, the Bible is not just a book—it’s 66 books. The Bible was written over a period of roughly 2,000 years by 40 different authorsfrom three continents, who wrote in three different languages. The Christian church has not invented the claim that the Bible is the Word of God; it is the claim of the Bible itself. We find in the Bible the claim that the words and deeds it records come from the living God. In hundreds of passages, in both the Old and New Testaments, the Bible plainly declares to be the very Word of the living God. The Bible declares some 3,800 times, “God said,” or “Thus says the Lord.”For example, “The grass withers, the flower fades, but the Word of our God stands forever.” Isaiah 40:8 “Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.” Matthew 24:35.Continue reading DO YOU NEED FAITH FOR HEALING? 2→
Deliverance is defined as “a rescue from bondage or danger.” Deliverance is often sought from evil spirits or the spirit of lust, jealousy, etc. We are told to “Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith.” 1 Peter 5:8,9
All aspects of deliverance are available only through the person and work of Jesus Christ:” When the seventy-two disciples returned, they joyfully reported to him, ‘Lord, even the demons obey us when we use your name!’” Luke 10:17
DO YOU NEED DELIVERANCE?
To determine if you are in need of deliverance, ask yourself the following questions:
Are you continually argumentative or contrary–usually on the verge of anger?
Are you violating, neglecting or causing pain in a relationship?
Are you practicing sin and can’t seem to stop?
Do you see a pattern of issues in your family, whether disease, poverty, anger, divorce, sexual perversion or other issues?
You are sick all the time and the doctors find nothing wrong. You could be dealing with a spirit of infirmity?
Are you having “spiritual” encounters, including recurring dreams/nightmares that you leave you fearful?
Do you sometimes sense that the problem isn’t you, but rather something in you?
Are you attracted to the occult. , e.g. Ouija Boards, Seance, Fortune Telling, Horoscopes, Hypnosis etc, or Witchcraft?
Have you experienced traumatic events that have impacted your life negatively?
An elevated level of ketone bodies in the blood, a state known as ketosis, leads to a reduction in the frequency of epileptic seizures. If this happens in this short term mental disorder which is easy to identify, it is surely is true of long range disorders like Parkinsonism, which is too difficult to correlate. This discovery is HUGE.
Researchers at Harvard University suggest that omega-3 fats (which are also available in supplements, though food sources are preferred) may disrupt the brain signals that trigger the characteristic mood swings seen with bipolar disorder. If these findings hold true in future studies, omega-3 fatty acids may have implications for successfully treating other psychiatric disorders such as depression and schizophrenia.
Possible therapeutic uses for the ketogenic diet have being studied for various neurological disorders in addition to epilepsy: Alzheimer’s disease (AD), amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), autism, brain cancer, headache, neurotrauma, pain, Parkinson’s disease (PD) and sleep disorders. The ketone bodies pass into the brain and replace glucose as an energy source.
More than 2 in 3 adults are considered to be overweight or have obesity in the United States. In other words, being overweight or obese is the new normal for Americans. Each one of these people carries an increased risk of cardiovascular disease, musculoskeletal disorders (e.g., arthritis and low back pain), cancer, type 2 diabetes, and depression.
Keto is one of the most effective ways to lose weight rapidlyand keep the fat off for good. The keto diet is a low carb and high fat diet that is similar to the Atkins diet – except there are no complicated phases to work through, making it a little easier to follow, especially for diet beginners.
The plan is said to cause fast weight loss while allowing dieters to remain satisfied, thanks to the large amount of fat included.
Over 20 scientific studies have shown this diet results in high levels of weight loss.
The good fats, or lipids, that work so beautifully in your body-and your brain-are called fatty acids. Essential fatty acids cannot be manufactured in your body so they must come from the foods you eat.
The diet sends the body into a state of ketosis, when the body burns fat for energy, instead of carbohydrates.
The brain does not contain “fat cells”, such as the kind that shrink when energy is scarce during dieting. Yet, if your diet is loaded with bad fats, your brain can only make low-quality nerve cell membranes that don’t function well. Also, all body tissues are affected by loss of nutrients, so in this sense the brain is affected just as the whole body is affected.Continue reading Can Mental Illness be HEALED?→
Demons cannot enter into a person’s body without having some kind of legal permission and legal right to be able to do so. They need some kind of an entry pointto be able to get in and attach to someone, and that entry point will be their door opener. That something specific will be their legal right. This is Spiritual Warfare and these persons must be delivered.
Jesus Himself did not emphasize the miraculous; He saw physical healing as an ordinary aspect of what He called “works“, rather than miracles: a form of Good News in action. Healing of the spirit, emotion and body was all part of the message of salvation. So the apostles preached by healing and this continues today.
Most people don’t know that God want to heal them:
“Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well. ” 3 John 1:2
“They were anointed by the Holy Spirit with power; because God was within them, they cured all who had fallen into the power of the devil. “So the kingdom of God is not just words: it is power.1 Corinthians 4:19,20It is power to transform lives. It is Good News
Too many Christians are broken. They are so broken that they cannot carry out the commandment to love God and their neighbor. Their inner turmoil prevents them from following God’s will.
Paradoxically, they may believe that this illness or brokenness is part of God’s will.So they don’t pray for a release for what God wants of them.
There is a mistaken belief, that you should carry your cross, as Jesus did. Jesus does say to bear your cross, yet whenever He meets people who are sick, He cures them. This inconsistency can be explained by describing this cross as a cross of persecution, which comesoutsideof man.
The words healing and peace are synonymouswith each other. You cannot have one without the other. The measure of healing is measured by the degree of peace we are feeling.
Physical sickness in our bodies is caused by disease or accident. Sickness may simply be a message to you to keep your life in balance. Fear, anger, and stress are all barriers to healing. These states often create illness. The word “dis-ease” means without ease. This means that mind, heart and spirit are meant to be in balance.
We must use the natural means of preserving health. Physicians are instruments that are ordinarily used to bring about healing for trauma. Psychology helps to bring problems to the light for what they are. One can administer to the body the necessary supplements and the body will heal itself to an extent. Surgeons can physically repair the body. But the miracle of healing is still by Jesus’ stripes (whippings).
The lure of ungodly superstitious beliefsor the occult is almost always on the basis of acquiring knowledge or power. The New Age movement has returned as it has so many times before. It is NOT a sect, a religion, a single organization, a science or a philosophy. It stems from a yearning for an age of freedom from the evils afflicting the world. It is called a movement in order to indicate that it is a network of individuals and groups who share a world-view and a common desire to change the world. In the Christian world, this is known as Ungodly Superstitious Beliefs.
“See to it that no one captivate you with an empty, seductive philosophy according to human tradition, according to the elemental powers of the world and not according to Christ.” Colossians 2:8
Many in this movement are less inclined to obey external authority and they think of religion in a way that leads to the notion that the self is sacred and to an exaggerated idea of freedom and self-reliance. Faith in God is often abandoned, except perhaps as a tool for self advancement.
A society which has undergone a breakdown of faith in the Christian tradition leans on the unlimited progress of science and technology through knowledge. The New Age movementclaims to be able to acquire this knowledge in an esoteric way through such methods as dream analysis or through the medium of a “spiritual master.”
For the New Age devotee, spirituality means the use of the powers of nature and of an imaginary cosmic “energy” to communicate with another world and to discover the fate of an individual, or to help to make the most of oneself.
The New Age does not believe in a God, does not believe in good or evil, has no room for judgment or blame, and holds that belief in evil is negative and causes only fear. It also fails to distinguish between God who created the universe and the universe He has created.
Examples of the titles of the New Age programs are listed below:
. Dreams: “Our Cosmic Connections,” · Focusing: Doorway to the body-life of spirit · Reiki training · Eco-Spirituality · Star in My Heart with Sophia and She is God · Reflexology · Praying with Kabir · Centering Prayer · The Enneagram · Dancing with the Cosmos · Creation-Centred Spirituality
Christianity, on the other hand, is an invitation to look outwards and beyond, to the “new Advent” of the God who calls us to live in the dialogue of love.
God commands us to have nothing to do with anything that smacks of involvement with the spirit world through the use of mediums, séances, Ouija boards, horoscopes, tarot cards, channeling, etc. He considers all of these an abomination (Deuteronomy 18:9-12; Isaiah 8:19-20; Galatians 5:20; Revelation 21:8), and those who involve themselves in such things invite disaster.
In the old testament, God considered the occult practices of contacting the spirit world for wisdom or guidance for the future an abomination worthy of judgment in Moses’ time. Deuteronomy 18:9 12Sometimes one can become possessed by starting to watch some sort of occult on television.
A TRUE STORY
In Chisasabi, Quebec at James Bay, a young native boy was completely possessed. His mother and father were holding on to him with both arms.
A minister who attempted to deliver him from his tormenter (an evil spirit) had problems in deliverance. Finally, he said, in the name of Jesus, tell me your name. No answer! Then afterward at the end of the evening, the boy blurted out, “Tupac forever!”. The evil spirit in him had to obey Jesus’ command to reveal his name. The father realized that the boy wore a Tupac or 2pac belt. When the belt was taken away, deliverance was successful. The rap singer, Tupac, who died prematurely, had been using satanic lyrics. The parents destroyed all the paraphernalia, which was kept in their child’s room or which was worn.
Do you not realize that everything that goes into a person from outside cannot defile, since it enters not the heart but the stomach and passes out into the latrine?” (Thus he declared all foods clean.) But what comes out of a person, that is what defiles. From within people, from their hearts, come evil thoughts, unchastity, theft, murder, adultery, greed, malice, deceit, licentiousness, envy, blasphemy, arrogance, folly. All these evils come from within and they defile.” Mark 7:18-23
