WHAT IS A BLESSING?When we invoke God’s blessing, we implore His divine beneficence, trusting that He will respond to our needs. He will cause situations to come together in your favor, no matter what others try to do.

The Lord said to Moses, “Bless the people of Israel with this special Blessing. Whenever (you) bless the people … in My name, I Myself will bless them.”                                                                            Numbers 6:23, 27

“May the Lord bless you
    and protect you.
May the Lord smile on you
    and be gracious to you.
May the Lord show you His favor
and give you His peace.”                       Numbers 6:24-26

Blessings are signs to the faithful of the spiritual benefits achieved through Christ’s intercession. Every baptized person is called to be a ‘blessing,’ and to bless.  Hence lay people may preside at certain blessings. The value of this blessing in the eyes of God depends upon the person’s individual sincerity and sanctity.

We are blessed to be a blessing to others. When you focus on being a blessing, God makes sure that you are always blessed in abundance.

“And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you and make your name great, so that you will be a blessing.” Genesis 12:2

And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work.”                                                                                                 2 Corinthians 9:8

“And if you faithfully obey the voice of the Lord your God, being careful to do all His commandments that I command you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth. And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you”                                                                                             Deuteronomy 28:1,2

Blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the Lord his God, who made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, who keeps faith forever; who executes justice for the oppressed, who gives food to the hungry. The Lord sets the prisoners free; the Lord opens the eyes of the blind. The Lord lifts up those who are bowed down; the Lord loves the righteous. The Lord watches over the sojourners; He upholds the widow and the fatherless, but the way of the wicked He brings to ruin.”                                                                                                                                         Psalm 146:5-9

Never cease praying, My child, for the conversion of the world; understand the more prayers I obtain, the less evil will be promulgated; prayers are never wasted.”

power prayer

Your prayers can change the world; your prayers can obtain God’s Graces for the conversion of sinners, and the more conversions, the more prayers will be made and heard for other conversions; do you understand? prayers are powerful; this is why I insist of you not to abandon your prayers and your sacrifices, the faithful are needed now more than ever.”                                                                    November 24, 1991

Why Pray?

god proof

  • Christians don’t shout, “I am clean living!” They whisper “I was lost, but now I’m found and forgiven.”
  • Christians don’t speak of this with pride. They confess that they stumble and need Christ to be their guide.
  • Christians don’t say,” I’m strong.” They say they are trying to be strong because they are really weak and need strength.
  • Christians don’t brag of success, but they admit that they are failing and they need God to clean up the mess.
  • Christians don’t claim to be perfect. Their flaws are far too visible but God believes they are worth it.
  • Christians still feel the sting of pain and they have their share of headaches but they call upon His Name.
  • Christians are not holier than thou. They are also simple sinners who receive God’s unbelievable grace.

  Christianity on a Table Napkin:

If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.                                                                                                                                               Romans 10:9

The real Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God. He was send by God to come to the earth in the body of a human being. That was so that He could suffer in the flesh, take all our sins upon Himself and die in our place. He rose from the dead and lives to pray for us daily.
He is the Saviour – The angel announced to Mary; …and you shall call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. Matthew 1:21    It means He has the power to free us, save us and deliver us from sin. He is merciful and has the power to forgive. He brings good news to the poor, heals the heartbroken, announce freedom to all captives, pardons all prisoners. He comforts mourners. He has healing in His wings.
If you are not yet received Jesus as your Saviour… SAY: Lord Jesus, You are the Christ, the Son of the Living God. Please hear me today and help me! I want to receive you as my Lord and Saviour. Be Lord of my life!  Lord Jesus, I believe that You died for me and that God raised You from the dead. Forgive me all my sins and take all my sins away. Come into my heart and be my Saviour and Lord, and fill me with Your Holy Spirit. Amen

God the Father will wipe every tear from our eyes, and there shall be no more death or mourning, crying out or pain. We will be like Him, for we will see Him as He is The Holy Spirit will have made all things new. Eternal joy will have begun.  “For the Mighty One has done great things for me— holy is His name.”                                       Luke 1: 49

Are we not like Barabbas justly condemned for murder, but saved by the innocent Jesus on the cross? Are we not like the adulterous woman, deserving of death by stoning, to whom Jesus says, “I do not condemn you”?  And Jesus saved them both. In fact, Jesus came to earth specifically to look for and save those who were lost.

“Come now, let us settle the matter,” says the LORD.

“Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow;

though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool.    Isaiah 1:18

You may need some counseling with a pastor, priest or competent Christian worker, who will introduce you to this Short Course on Who is Jesus? Start by reading the Gospel according to John: It is all about love and you will love it. Read several verses before going to bed and read the same verse upon arising. My Lord, I love you:  say it many times. God loves to hear it. Say it a thousand times a day and every morning when you rest in the Lord.  How wonderful it is for God to hear you call Him, ‘Father’.”

Vassula, since you know now how much you depend on Me your God. Will you be praying more? I love your simple words, say to Me,

I love You Lord,

I breathe for You, I smile for You,

I hope in You, I believe in You,

You are my joy, my bounce, my peace. ”                      March 8, 1988

God would want you to concentrate more on Him. Conversing with God is Prayer.  One can make this more of a reality by speaking in terms of weandus, to show that one is united to God daily: “we are one.”  When you have a coffee, you have coffee for two. It is always “we” or “us” who are having coffee.

“Remember My Presence; do you know how much I desire this meditation upon My Presence? My Presence is also a very important Mystery that most of you seem to forget; meditate on My Presence; children, whom I love with an everlasting love, please Me by remembering My actual Presence; train yourselves by using these words, we, us, you and I, I and you, us; include Me in your activities, in your discussions and in your thoughts; respect My Presence, never forgetting that I am the Holy One; by remembering Me, you will sin less knowing and remembering that I Am with you.”  October 24, 1988

We are in this world but not of this world since every day Christians say: “Our Father who art in heaven…

Spirituality mean

Even when we worship different gods, attend different schools, have different skin colors, we’re all supposed to share spirituality.

But you have a compute and Wikipedia: “Spirituality can refer to an ultimate or immaterial reality; an inner path enabling a person to discover the essence of their being; or the ‘deepest values and meanings by which people live.’”

Yes, that’s Wikipedia! It continues on to say, “Spirituality is often experienced as a source of inspiration or orientation in life. It can encompass belief in immaterial realities or experiences of the immanent or transcendent nature of the world.”

Hmm! That’s extremely broad. Maybe you should read a book on the subject.

Princeton religion scholar Leigh Schmidt wrote one called Restless Souls that charts the development of American spirituality. Rather than the “New Age” phenomenon it is sometimes misinterpreted as, spirituality is an egalitarian, pluralistic realm of experience and thought has  a unique and sometimes intellectually advanced role in American history. So, basically, Schmidt can’t (or won’t) really define spirituality, either.

We instinctively know that it’s mixed up in religion, but it’s definitely distinct from institutional religion. Can someone be religious without being spiritual? It’s completely plausible.

On the other side of the coin, you hear “I don’t go to church, but I’m very spiritual.” You may get called spiritual once in a while without understanding what it means. People can use spirituality as a buffer. Relying on ambiguity can be risky.

Spirituality is centered on the deepest values and meanings by which people live. Spirituality defines our inner nature or inner soul: that means you need to dive deep into your inner self. Whoops! Does that sound like New Age? Let’s talk about inner peace.

It is no easy task to walk this world and find peace. Inside of us, it would seem something is at odds with the very rhythm of things and we are forever restless, dissatisfied, frustrated and aching. We seem to be overcharged with desire that is hard to come to simple rest. Desire always seems to be stronger than satisfaction.

We are not easeful or restful human beings who occasionally get restless. The reverse is true. We are driven people, forever obsessed sometimes to the point of dis-ease. (Stress causes a lot of disease).

Suppose your Creator designed you INITIALLY  in a special way as He did when he gave you two eyes, a brain, etc, Augustine says: “you have made us for Yourself, Lord, and our hearts are restless until they rest in You.”

So spirituality is ultimately what we do with that desire: a deep energy, as something beautiful, as an incredible pull, more important than anything else inside us, toward love, beauty, creativity, and a future beyond our limited present.

God’s love exists deep within each of us, in our restlessness, just as we can reside deeply within God. God won’t let go of us. Love is a powerful force in life. Spirituality is what we do with that love. It is not difficult to understand  that spirituality and ethics and morality are not far apart. Morality is the public face of our spirituality.

It takes religious conversion for our moral life to become immersed in the ways of love, which means being totally in love with God. There is a holy longing to be loved and to love. What previously may have felt as a moral obligation, now becomes a new transfusion of love, which  can transform us into a cheerful and generous giver. No wonder the apostle, Paul wrote, “And the greatest of these (gifts) is love.                                                                                              1 Corinthians 13:13

Spirituality mean

What is religious conversion?  Conversion requires internalization of the new belief system that differs from previous beliefs. Religion is defined as “the feelings and experiences of individuals in relation to that which they consider divine.” The key word here is DIVINE . In a nutshell, it is an introduction to the intimacy of a triune God: a RELATIONSHIP with Jesus Christ, a tapping into all the gifts of the Holy Spirit and holy longing to become one with our Creator.

Spirituality mean

Now how is it that I sense a little skepticism in you? You may experience a turn off at the words, “Jesus Christ”. That may have something to do with the baggage or all the monkeys on your back that you have been carrying. You see, there is another force out there that may have wriggled themselves through  a gap into your psyche.

Spirituality mean

It is the same force that soldiers experience after the trauma of a war experience that fuel hatred and unforgiveness, This roots itself and causes post traumatic syndrome disorders (PTSD). So I say a little prayer for you as you read this: “In the Name of Jesus Christ, I command all evil spirits influencing you to be quiet and not give you any evil thoughts.”

The Bible is very clear that God in His sovereign mercy frees man from bondage and sin and is able to raise them to a high spiritual life. “and they may come to their senses and escape from the snare of the devil, having been held captive by him to do his will.”                                                                                                                                             2 Timothy 2:26

Spirituality mean

Most of us don’t feel impelled to change. Most conversions are gradual – the culmination of years of faith.  Your religion becomes a matter between you and God.

We are not talking about going to church one hour on Sunday and thinking that you have put God in your corner. Going to church puts quite a few of us to sleep. We become very pleased with ourselves. We forget about how others are living.

Instead, you learn to go to church for the right reasons: there or anywhere you can say anything you want when you pray and you know God is listening and no one else.

Post Abortion Stress Syndrome (PASS) – Does It Exist?

Thirty studies show more women suffer long-term mental disorders such as depression and PTSD following abortion than miscarriage or childbirth. Zero studies showed the opposite.                             The Journal of psychiatry and Clinical Neurosciences  Summer 2013

“Liberal” Christians like to call themselves Christians.

They like to belong to a church. They hold that the dogmatic element of Christianity is either of no importance or of minimal importance. It doesn’t matter what you believe; it matters how you feel and how you behave. Their freedom from dogma allows them to redefine what counts as moral goodness and badness. They give heartfelt moral approval to abortion and same-sex marriage.

“For these, I say: “you may sharpen your sword, but the weapon you prepared will kill you; now you are not pregnant with child but with iniquity; you are going to conceive Spite and you will give birth to Mishap; you have dug a pit, hollowed it out, only to fall into your own trap! WHAT ARE THE REASONS FOR AN ABORTION?ABORTION SYNDROMEDo you see any good reasons to abort (kill) a child?

On a Christian mission to Chisasabi located on the northern east coast of James Bay on the Grand Riviere, two evening healing session were advertised on the local radio station. The Cree community quickly volunteered their musical talents because we had a professional sounds system, which really made them sound great in the auditorium.

Every native who came forward was healed and delivered from evil spirits. One lady only came to sing had a pain in the area of her abdomen, and the pain would continue to drop down toward her uterus. She admitted to having an abortion. The pain was removed with a prayer of healing through the healing hands of the pastor with the Holy Spirit!

On a Healing Mission to Medellin, COLOMBIA (Feb 1-14, 2017) an incident occurred related to abortion. A lady came forward in a church for prayers, but soon fell to the floor in contortions suffering from chronic headaches and stomach pains. Someone who was watching discerned that the problem was that she had an abortion.

The church deliverance team went to work but they had all their hands on her. (You should never touch a person being delivered). I asked that I be allowed to pray for her since she was my “client”. All the hands came off and I prayed for deliverance for unforgivenss of her for having an abortion. She quickly recovered and she felt a sense of peace. She was asked to repeat the words,” Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior” to verify that all evil possession had gone.

Prayer of Deliverance Abortion

This was the prayer of deliverance used, which can be used by any sinless Christian in the name of Jesus Christ: that at the Name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”                                                                                                                  Philippians 2:10-11

The proof that this prayer is effective comes with a complete sense of peace upon those being prayed upon.

Jesus enters into partnership with us. He comes to us full of perfect knowledge and unlimited love. God knows all our defects and weaknesses. He knows all that might have been done for us or by us.

The soul becomes capable of living in a higher order and of becoming the agent of acts which are completely beyond it natural possibilities. If a plant were given a true power of sensation, or an animal a true power of reason, this would be like the radical transformation that is produced on our soul by grace: still these examples are inadequate. “I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.”                                                                                       John 10:10

”And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.”                                                                                                   2 Corinthians 9:8

God gives Himself wholly to the person who gives it wholly to Him. God’s love for men is not merely a love for humanity in general. God is in love with each human individual, personally and particularly.

Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ appeared to this simple nun, St. Faustina, bringing a wonderful message of Mercy:

Attributes of God

The first attribute which the Lord gave me to know is His holiness. The second kind of knowledge which the Lord granted me concerns His justice. The third attribute is love and mercy. And I understood that the greatest attribute is love and mercy. It unites the creature with the Creator.                                                                                      Diary 180

Healing is a present promise of God that one appropriates by faith.

Spirituality is the personal quest for understanding answers to ultimate questions about life, about meaning, and about relationship to the sacred or transcendent, which may (or may not) lead to or arise to religion.

These promises are of God, the promises are clearly stated in the Bible to all people that Christ will heal everyone who believes: “And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he has committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.”                                                                                                                                          James 5:15

Moreover, the promises made by God cannot be broken. It is the faith that one has to receive the healing that is promised in the Word: “But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed”. Isaiah: 53:5 Instead of walking by natural human faith, you walk by Bible faith”. (MacNutt 103)

Christian Bible

Actually, the Bible is not just a book—it’s 66 books. The Bible was written over a period of roughly 2,000 years by 40 different authors from three continents, who wrote in three different languages.  The Christian church has not invented the claim that the Bible is the Word of God; it is the claim of the Bible itself. We find in the Bible the claim that the words and deeds it records come from the living God. In hundreds of passages, in both the Old and New Testaments, the Bible plainly declares to be the very Word of the living God. The Bible declares some 3,800 times, “God said,” or “Thus says the Lord.” For example, “The grass withers, the flower fades, but the Word of our God stands forever.” Isaiah 40:8 “Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.”                                                                                                                                       Matthew 24:35. Continue reading DO YOU NEED FAITH FOR HEALING?

There are three languages that God has written on every heart: truth, goodness and beauty. Some people are more captivated on what is the truth and need more proof or reasons. Others are scandalized by the lack of goodness in the Church. Others still spend much time and effort seeking beautiful things in life, like artwork, music or travel. An evangelist must use the right language to connect to people.

Evangelism share the love

If your friend knows that you love him or her, then you have a pretty good chance of being heard. You can challenge him or her to grow and seek what is best.

Divine Appointment

The Holy Spirit provides the initiative for the conversation. This happens when you are praying for such conversations to happen. Pray that you will be sensitized to any divine appointment that God has aligned for you today.

Spiritual Conversation Starter Questions

  1. If you died today, do you know for sure you’d go to heaven?
  2. If you died and stood before God and He asked you ‘Why should I let you into Heaven?’  What would you say?”

Other Questions

  1. What single thing would you like to make absolutely certain you do (if at all possible) during your lifetime?
  2. What gives most meaning to your life?
  3. Has anything ever happened to you that was dramatic, personal or spectacular enough to cause you to be certain there is a God who is both infinite and personally caring: a God event!?
  4. Do you consider yourself a seeker of the truth?
  5. Does God (or a Higher Power) seem personal to you?
  6. Has being ill made any difference in your thinking or feeling about God or your religious faith?

Say to him or her: “I’m guessing you may be a Christian”

Jesus is the only religious founder who rose from the dead and is alive today, as shown by His healing.

One’s fruit becomes the ultimate test of whether someone is of God or not: “You will know them by their fruit. A good tree cannot have bad fruit.”                                                                                        Matthew 7:16, 18.

You have just been healed at least by 80%. I am going to give you some homework: you are to praise God and thank God every day or whenever you think about it until all of the healing has taken place.

I think God wants to get your attention for the first time in your life. Could you read what it says on this card, Ticket to Heaven.

The Question Is Not “Do You Believe In God?” But What Kind of God Do You Believe In?” Continue reading EVANGELIZING WHAT WE LOVE

One of the greatest gifts we can offer our family and friends is helping them to die well. But there is a moment in which we need to give those we love the permission to return to God and heaven. We have to sit quietly with them and say: “Do not be afraid … I love you, God loves you … it’s time for you to go in peace. … I won’t cling to you any longer … I set you free to go home … go gently, go with my love.” Saying this from our heart is a true gift. It is the greatest gift love can give.

When Jesus died he said: “Father, into your hands I commit my Spirit”. Luke 23:46 It is good to repeat these words often with our dying friends. With these words on their lips or in their hearts, they can make the passage as Jesus did.

“The LORD is my Shepherd; I shall not want … and I shall dwell in the house of the LORD for years to come.”  Psalms 23:1, 6

Death frees us from the boundaries of chronology and brings us into God’s “time,” which is timeless. There is no “past,” “present,” or “future.” God is all in all for those who are no longer in time.

For us who still live in time, it is important not to act as if the new life in Christ is something we can comprehend or explain. God’s heart and mind are greater than ours. All that is asked of us is trust.                                                                                                                                         Henry Nouwen

‘Holy Sonnet 10: Death, Be Not Proud‘ by John Donne (1572-1631)

Death, be not proud, though some have called thee
Mighty and dreadful, for thou art not so;
For those whom thou think’st thou dost overthrow
Die not, poor Death, nor yet canst thou kill me.
From rest and sleep, which but thy pictures be,
Much pleasure; then from thee much more must flow,
And soonest our best men with thee do go,
Rest of their bones, and soul’s delivery.
Thou art slave to fate, chance, kings, and desperate men,
And dost with poison, war, and sickness dwell,
And poppy or charms can make us sleep as well
And better than thy stroke; why swell’st thou then?
One short sleep past, we wake eternally
And death shall be no more; Death, thou shalt die.

Death has always been a subject that’s instilled people with terror and despair, yet Donne’s famous sonnet provides us with a comforting ray of hope.

When he says “From rest and sleep, which but thy pictures be, / Much pleasure,” he compares death to being asleep, making it sound a lot less terrifying. Similarly, when he saysOne short sleep past, we wake eternally / And death shall be no more, he explains that if one truly believes in the eternal life of the soul, then death is nothing but a blessing.

This sonnet is practically universally applicable, since death is so ever-present in our lives, and the fear of death is undoubtedly a natural instinct.

gate to heaven

Let me ask you a question: when you die, where will your soul go? Heaven? Hell? Nowhere? Not sure? I know where my soul will go when I die. Wouldn’t you like to be absolutely 100% sure where yours will go? If you could get into the gate to heaven when you die, wouldn’t you do whatever it takes to be sure that that is where your soul is going?

  1. Have you sinned? Don’t think so? Ever told a lie, even a little white lie? Ever stolen something, even just a penny? Have you ever known it was right to do something, and then not done it?

“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23 (You may be a good person, but even sinning just once (which we all have) we still fall short of the Glory of God, because God is without sin).

    2. We still have hope: Now, we know that God isn’t going to let sin into heaven… and now that we’ve established that every single person on earth has sinned, this isn’t looking so good for you and me to get into heaven is it? But luckily for us, there’s good news.

“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Romans 6:23

     3. You might be saying to yourself, “I don’t know how to accept Jesus as my savior or how to confess my sins.” Have no fear. If you are ready today to accept Jesus Christ as your savior, then pray with me by following the prayer below:

“Jesus, I know that I’m a sinner and that I need your help to save my soul. I know that you are the Son of God, and I want to thank you for dying on the cross for me so that I don’t have to pay for my sins, and so that I can have eternal life through you. Please come into my heart Lord and save me. Please forgive me for my sins and help me to repent and be a better person for you. I love you Lord and thank you for your sacrifice. In your name Lord, amen.”

    4.  There is no guilt and no reason to feel guilty. The Bible says we are sinners by nature. God does not expect us to feel guilty. What he does want us to feel is love for Him. He wants us to be with us in heaven, which is why we must accept his Son.

    5.  Now why would God feel it is necessary to be saved? What is there to be saved from? Hell. Where is the opposite of hell after you die? Heaven. You are being saved from Hell.

    6.  After we are saved, there is a change that takes place within us… we should want to do things to please God, not disappoint him. Now that’s not to say that God expects you to lead a perfect life… he doesn’t. But when you are saved, there is a spiritual “rebirth” if you will.

Do you know what signs Jesus will be looking for to see if He recognizes you as one of His own? What are you doing today to prepare for that crucial moment when time has run out?

But we come from God and belong to God…” 1 John 4:4

‘”In my Father’s house are many mansions.” John 14:2-3

When you stand at the gate of heaven and God says, “Why should I let you in?” What answer will you give?

“I lived a good life.” “I gave money to good causes.”    “We’re happy for you, but you weren’t good enough.”

You will know the answer before you get there and you can know for sure that heaven’s gate will open for you. How?

Gate to heaven

Very simple.

“If you say with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved from the punishment of sin.” Romans 10:9

Which of the four personalities as shown above are you? Each of the different temperaments thinks in a different way. Each has different inherent weaknesses. Each deal with healing in a different way.

Every person is unique; everyone has a different style, different needs and expectations. Individuals who are willing to look inside and embrace their own diametrically opposed personality traits can significantly improve their personal performance to follow God’s will.

Each type of personality may have difficulty in accepting the healing promises by faith for different reasons, even though it all emanates from the Holy Spirit. It’s a question of accepting the gift of faith.

From a medical point of view, a patient with spiritual beliefs may assign a more meaningful understanding to the illness, thus reducing the negative effects of stress on health. Spirituality may help to prevent the negative health consequences for the following unhealthy objections based on five types of temperaments:

  1. One type of temperament is the aggressive person who wants control over everything. This type A is strong willed and has difficulty seeking the Father’s will for them. They forget Christ and seek their own desires. They have a difficult time releasing their life to Christ.                                                                                                      Their stubbornness keeps their faith from receiving the full value of their healing. They need to be reminded that five minutes in hell would prove that Jesus is real and that hell is real.

Healing Temperament

2.  The sanguine or expressive personality want to please others often forfeiting their own needs and the Father’s will for them to please other people. Yes, they want to help others, but often they forget God’s plan for them. Once they realize that the healing promises pertain to them personally, they want to assist and encourage others.

3. The melancholic or the analytical are constantly searching, and not accepting the healing promises on faith. They never stop searching for the hard evidence. When all they have to do is receive.

4. The phlegmatic tends to be too calm and imperturbable. He is accommodating to the point of not becoming very emotionally moved to the prospect of his or her healing. He or she wishes to stay uninvolved and resists any change.

Is  supernatural evangelism by healing biblical? Jesus did not rely on words alone to convince people as to who he was. Many times he said that if they did not believe His words then they should believe because of His miracles:“I did tell you, but you do not believe. The miracles I do in My Father’s name speak for Me” John 10:25

When Jesus appeared to His disciples, He gave them the Great Commission: “Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. And these signs shall follow them that believe; in My name shall they cast out devils …they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. Mark 16:15, 18 Jesus also said: “I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in Me will do what I have been doing”.                                                                                                               John 14:12

Supernatural Evangelism

We fail to do it the Jesus way because we are afraid of failure and embarrassment, which is natural. Remember all of the direction given in the Last Great Commission:   It includes a missionary effort.

While on mission, you simply cannot say hello, I wish you well and goodbye. God knows that you must have the tools that you need to make a difference. Those who have dedicated themselves to become Christian Lay Missionaries discover that the Holy Spirit has endowed them with the gift of healing. This gift does not disappear when you come back home: it is real and immediate healing.

In the book of Acts the apostles continually declared that people were healed in the Name of Jesus. Physical healing, miracles, and gifts of the Spirit were regular occurrences as the early Christians engaged in evangelism.  This was consistent with the life and ministry of Jesus, and it illustrated His promise that “these signs will accompany those who believe.”                                                    Mark 16:17
