I saw a horseman rode up to me and handed me a scroll. In big black bold print were the words,” WAR AND DESTRUCTION”. “America is receiving her last call. Some nations already have received their last call and never will receive another.”
I saw the skyscrapers were burned-out hulls. Portions of the city lay in ruins. There would be many such cities destroyed.
Jesus spoke,” All the gifts of the Spirit will be in operation in the Church in these last days and the Church will do greater things than even the Early Church did… We are now entering into the era of the miraculous… I am gathering My own together and am preparing them, for the time is short.” “The time that is left is comparable to the last seven days of Noah’s time.”
The World Bank estimates that the world problem is that a quarter of the world is chronically under nourished. It is shocking to know that this problem has been with us for centuries. This world problemseems too remote for most people. Hunger continues to initiate the most violent wars. People who are out of work and are starving are the stuff of which dictatorships are made. Yet, no one truly desires anyone to suffer or starve.
A Meaningful Existence
Most of us live for tomorrow: it will be better, richer, wiser and more secure.
We are all searching for something that will make our existence more meaningful. Even the ancient Egyptians believed that upon death they would have to answer two questions: “Did you bring joy?” and “Did you find joy?”
We truly have an obligation to be the best person that we can. Any new learning, which will aid us in obtaining that goal, will benefit everyone. Each of us has something special to contribute. There is something that each of us can do if we are willing. Finding ways to become involved is a good beginning.
We can use the time that we are given to give birth to our potential — our human trademark. We are challenged to see new possibilities. We are living at a time of abundant new beginnings. It is actually exciting when people come to grips with their own uniqueness as individuals.
We are constantly told that nothing is free and that every investment has to have a return. Yet, over 50% of people volunteer their time at something to improve society.
An Earthly Paradise
The Buddhist tell a story of the frog lodged at the bottom of the well, which cannot ever understand the limitless expanse of the sky. If we can only step out of our own perceptual traps, we can begin to see the beauty and goodness.
An earthly paradise is not some far-off impossible destination. It can be a loving voyage in the here and now. We are responsible for creating our own paradise and the time to start the voyage is NOW.
The Save-the-World Mind Set
We are living through a period of an unprecedented social and technological change. This rapid advancement in technology and human networks have exponentially opened up new pathways to actualizing one’s passions. People want to broadcast and express themselves and even cultivate a following. There is an increased global awareness and connections to others in remote areas.
Many people do not associate helping the poor around the world as a calling from God. They think that Christianity is a laundry list of vague beliefs that have little meaning on how they spend their time. Actually, they lack a deep understanding of their faith and that following Jesus is a way of life..
Many people aspire to science-related careers. Some people assume that science has cornered the world on knowledge: things are only true when they are tested with scientific methods. There is a name for this: scientism. This thinking must not become more important than obedience to God.
Above is what Sir Isaac Newton said about his belief: He credited his Creator with the existence of the universe.
Each moment has a life upon itself with as much potential for joy and happiness as we are willing to bring to it: life is wonderful; joy is our birthright and love is what it is all about.
Having more of anything other than the love for God and neighborwill leave you dissatisfied with relationships and possessions.
To love is the greatest of human experience and sooner or later we discover that life without it is empty and meaningless. Love is always worth the effort.
Kindness in giving creates love. Each of us bears a torch but we must keep it lit. The hope of tomorrow is that these blazing torches will provide hope for tomorrow. We want to leave the world a better place for our having to be in it.
You were put on earth, and all of you My brothers and sisters, for a special purpose. You were created for heaven to be saints.
To reach this goal you will have to struggle and suffer and My life on earth is an example of what I mean. Do not be afraid to commit your lives to Me and keep Me in view all the time.
You will have to root out sin in your heartas well as all your sinful attachments. This is always a struggle because sin can stick to you like rust to metal.
With My grace you can get rid of these embedded habits of sin.You will have to be vigilant every day that you do not return to your former ways.
Cultivate, My dear friend, good habits of prayer, of reading the bible and good books, of thanking instead of gossiping, of forgiveness instead of harboring resentment, and of loving instead of criticizing and complaining.
Be humble as I am humble of heart and I will bless you. Accept everything as a gift to you from My Father and praise Him for it.
Be grateful for every sign of love and friendshipand know that I am always with you. Let us walk hand in hand every day. I love you.”
The above messages came to Father Melvin Doucette:
Fr. Melvin Doucette was ordained to the priesthood on and joined the Missionaries of Africa for 29 years in Africa. In contemplative prayer every morning, Fr. Doucette receives by interior locution “messages from heaven” to share with the public.
A Biblical Prophetic Fulfillment: “It will all come about when history has been completed. God will then bring together all things in heaven and on earth under one ruler. The ruler is Christ.” Ephesians 1:10
The Timing and Seasons of God
“Follow the way of love and eagerly desire gifts of the Spirit, especially prophecy.” Corinthians 14:1
The Prophet, Isaiah, prophesied in his day 700 years before Christ: “For to us a Child is born, to us a Son is given, and the government will be on His shoulders. And He will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace. ” Isaiah 9:6
“Truly I tell you, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened. Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will never pass away.” Matthew 24:34
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the LORD. As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts.” Isaiah 55: 8, 9
“But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day.” 2 Peter 3:8
Just as we are dressed in clothes, so our inward person “wears” an outward person: the inner spirit“wears” the psyche. And similarly, the inner spirit and psyche “wear” the body.
It is quite evident that men are generally more conscious of the outer or outermost person, and they hardly recognize or understand their inner spiritat all.
Watchman Nee, the author of The Release of the Spirit has correctly identified the Bible reference of man’sinner spiritor the inner man (person); he calls man’s soul (psyche) the outer man(person) and for the body he uses the term, the outermost man:
“I pray that out of His glorious riches He may strengthen you with power through His Spirit in your inner being.” Ephesians 3: 16
We may be able to mouth the word, “Not my will but Thine be done,” but how often do we really allow the Lord to take over when things happy.” The person who loves his life will lose it, while the person who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life. “John 12:25
The Blood of Jesus has always been an important concept to Christian people down through the centuries of Christian belief. The inspired Scriptures contain numerous references to the significance of the blood of Christ.
The blood of Jesus is regarded by many as far more than merely an historical fact. It has become for them a present, living, potent reality. Blood is the life of the body. Christ’s body died, but His blood did not die.
For if the blood of bulls and goats and the ashes of a heifer, sprinkling the unclean, sanctifies for the purifying of the flesh, how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? Hebrews 9:13-14
We enter into this new covenant with God by faith. By faith we receive the blood that Jesus shed as a holy sacrifice for our sins. The blood of Jesus makes us holy and worthy to receive God’s Holy Spirit in us. In this new covenant we agree to be led by God’s Holy Spirit. The proof of our faith is our obedience to God. Faith without works is dead faith. For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also. James 2:26 When we are not obeying the Holy Spirit we feel dead.
If you can receive this teaching of Jesus, and then put it into practice, your life will be dramatically changed. Spiritually feeding on Jesus body and drinking His blood will fill you with His very life, because the life is in the blood, Deuteronomy 2:23. Then Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in you. “Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. “For My flesh is food indeed, and My blood is drink indeed. “He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood abides in Me, and I in him. “As the living Father sent Me, and I live because of the Father, so he who feeds on Me will live because of Me.” John 6:53-57Food gives us nourishment, strength, and satisfaction. Jesus is our spiritual source of nourishment, strength, and satisfaction.
Applying the Blood of Jesus
Just as priests applied the blood in the old covenant, we as priests in the new covenant are to apply the blood of Jesus. This is the blood of the testament which God hath enjoinedunto you. Hebrews 9:20 The word enjoined means to be given charge of. In the old covenant the priest applied the blood of animals by sprinkling. In the new covenant we receive the blood by faith and sprinkle the blood with our words. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10:10
You apply the blood of Jesus to yourself when you say, “the blood of Jesus which He shed on the cross was for me, and it makes me free from sin and all unrighteousness.” Whatever we apply the blood to is made Holy. When the blood is applied so also is God’s grace and the anointing of the Holy Spirit applied.
Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, “Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.” Revelation 12:10-11In the old covenant they applied the blood by sprinkling, Hebrews 9:19. In the new covenant we apply the blood by our words.
You can apply the blood of Jesus to your body to receive healing, Isaiah 53:5. You can apply the blood of Jesus to your mind, to receive a sound mind. You can apply the blood of Jesus to your home, Exodus 12:13. You can apply the blood of Jesus to your children, Job 1:5.You can apply the blood of Jesus to anyone and anything that you have authority over or influence upon. It is your right as God’s child. Also in obedience to God’s Holy Spirit you should apply the blood of Jesus to anything or anyone that He tells you to. It is your duty as a royal priest of the most High God. But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; 1 Peter 2:9Continue reading POWER of the BLOOD of JESUS 2→
