BREAKING CURSES

CURSES BROKEN

CURSES BROKENThe bringing of an idol into a man’s house, even unwittingly, brings a curse into it and  can makes him liable. This can come in the form of disease. One Christian discovered that she could not sleep in one particular room of the house because of nightmare.

“Do not bring a detestable thing into your house or you, like it, will be set apart for destruction. Regard it as vile and utterly detest it, for it is set apart for destruction.”                                    Deuteronomy 7:26

Certain jewelery can bring curses to a home. The makers of this jewelery sometimes pray in order to place a spirit in those objects. Christians have reported cases of demonic invasion from dolls and puppets. Some hard rock or rap music have been known to cause problems: in one case these records stored under a bed brought about sexual lust in the same way as pornographic materials open the gates to sexual sins.

This doesn’t mean that you must destroy these dolls or puppets. It is enough to pray for deliverance over these objects if you know a Christian to pray who is without sin :

  • In the Name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, I pour the Blood of Jesus upon these objects.”
  • “I command any evil spirits to leave now from these objects and never return and go to the abyss in the Name of Jesus Christ, our Lord.”
  • In the Name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, I revoke and break any curse attached to this item and I command evil spirits to leave now and go to the abyss and never return.

Similarly tattoos can be problematic and can be handled in the same way and the tattoo can be renounced. “‘Do not cut your bodies (in mourning) for the dead or put tattoo marks on yourselves. I am the Lord.”                                                                                             Leviticus 19:28

THE HAUNTED ROOM

CURSES BROKEN

Demons may persist in inhabiting a dwelling even after the practice of worship in them is discontinued. This could also have happened if a house has been build over an ancient unknown graveyard. We enlist the services of a Christian without sin and use the same prayer.

In addition, this Christian can also walk the perimeter of the property counter clock wise (to reach back in time) using the same prayer. A vial of holy oil* can be dabbed on the sides and tops of windows and doors to post an angel there while using the same prayer. The heaviness that one feels from these evil spirits will be lifted and there will be a feeling of lightness.

*My vial of holy oil came from a home where a Portuguese lady, Maureen Morolly, (1609 boul Sunnybrooke, Dollard-Des-Ormeaux, QC, H9B 1R4). It is Montreal’s present ongoing miracle and this is attracting bus loads of people. Everything of a spiritual nature drips of oil in her living room that was converted into a prayer room. A coffee table filled with small holy statues drip into an eaves trough along the table and into a large jug. Any spiritual pictures on the wall drip with oil continually, but not the secular diplomas. This oil comes directly from heaven!

ARE YOU AN ASPIRING THEOLOGIAN?

WHAT IS THEOLOGY?

ASPIRING THEOLOGIAN

Theology is neither a nine-to-five job nor a career. To know and speak truly of God is a vocation that requires more than academic or professional qualifications. The image you should have in mind is not the professor with a tweed jacket, but rather the disciples who dropped everything to follow Jesus. Becoming a theologian means following God’s Word where it leads with all one’s mind, heart, soul, and strength.

Theology is the study of how to speak truly of God and of all things in relation to God. But theologians can’t approach the object of their study the way biologists study living creatures or geologists the earth. God cannot be empirically examined. God is the creator of all things, not to be identified with any part of the universe or even with the universe as a whole. Speaking of God thus poses unique challenges. If God had not condescended to communicate to creatures something of his light, we would be in the dark.

BY GOD, OF GOD, TO GOD

Are you familiar with Thomas Aquinas’s definition? “Theology is taught by God, teaches of God, and leads to God.”

By God. Only God can make himself known. We’re simply children who love their father and want to know him better, who trust their father’s wisdom: And He (Jesus) said: “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.”                                                                     Matthew 18:3

Of God. Theology is thinking hard about what God has taught about Himself and all things in relation to Himself.

To God. Theology is ultimately about cultivating godliness, in oneself and one’s community. A theologian is a certain kind of person, whose created intelligence has been illumined by the Holy Spirit. Continue reading ARE YOU AN ASPIRING THEOLOGIAN?

SEVENTH DAY ADVENTISTS: the TRUTH

SEVENTH DAY ADVENTISTS

Most people know little about the Seventh-day Adventists beyond that they worship on Saturdays, not Sundays. But there’s more to this unique sect.

The Seventh-day Adventist church traces its roots to American preacher William Miller (1782–1849), a Baptist who predicted the Second Coming would occur between March 21, 1843, and March 21, 1844. Because he and his followers proclaimed Christ’s imminent advent, they were known as “Adventists.”

When Christ failed to appear, Miller reluctantly endorsed the position of a group of his followers known as the “seventh-month movement,” who claimed Christ would return on October 22, 1844 (in the seventh month of the Jewish calendar).

Ellen White gained recognition in Adventist circles as a prophetess and became the church’s leader; she claimed to receive the first of several hundred visions in December of 1844.

Often Adventist-related publishing houses conduct mass mailings of their literature to every home and post office box in a community. Much of the published material comes from White’s single most popular volume, The Great Controversy. Continue reading SEVENTH DAY ADVENTISTS: the TRUTH

LOVING PERSON OF THE SAME SEX

WOMAN IS CREATED FOR MAN AND MAN IS MADE FOR WOMEN.

Man and women were not created as solitary beings but as the ones who would recognize each other as flesh of their flesh and bones of their bones, as the ones who are capable of friendship and total surrender to each other, as the ones who are capable of life-giving acts in its many forms. God intended complementary and interdependent relatedness of men and women. God ordered the right proportion so that not one of them would infringe improperly on another. Women are the other side of man, as complementary, rather than inferior.

Of course, man and woman in their sexual union and begetting of children can become co-creators with God. Their love and action can mirror the Love of God. They are to be partners like body and soul which God joined together as one. Yet, sexuality is often encountered as lust or abusive and not life-giving.

God also intended this union to strive to build a spiritual marriage. Couples with a strong shared faith do have an advantage over those who don’t. Husbands and wives who have put their faith and trust in Jesus Christ are in touch with the Life that pulses at the center of the universe in a way that others can never be.

LET’S CHANGE THE WORLD

The world is not moving in a great direction. Yes, the world is a mess in a hundred different ways every day. Most people don’t believe that it is possible to change the world.

But it can. How? The changes will not come from government, not from the economy or big business, not from science. The best group of people who are positioned to make a difference is Christians. How is this possible? It is simple but not easy.

Change the World

We will change the world by behaving like Christians. There are over two billion Christians in the world and they have a tremendous influence.

Part of the problem is that Christians have blind spots. They don’t see things as they really are. They don’t see our marriage, our career, our business, our personal finances, our children’s school and even our own church as it really is. We still have biases and prejudices. Jesus wants to liberate us from our blind spots and to help us see things as they really are and to see ourselves as we really are.

We actually fool ourselves. We never admit to ourselves that we are greedy. We never say that we like money too much. Even stingy people think that they are generous. So we don’t see ourselves as we really are. Continue reading LET’S CHANGE THE WORLD

CONCUSSION INJURY HEALED

MY INVISIBLE ILLNESS OF CONCUSSION INJURY IS MORE REAL THAN YOUR IMAGINARY MEDICAL EXPERTISE OF HEALING.

Meet four members of the Concussion Injury Group, a band of advocates so determined they risk taxing their personal health, short-term, for the end game of better care for others.

Three of the four lost top career positions due to sudden, and freak brain injury. A fourth had her career path altered but is about to graduate, thanks to home-schooling and the online courses of Carleton University.

Jane Clark, 55, was a leading patent litigation lawyer. She kept company with scientists from around the globe, held senior management positions, did volunteer work in the community and sang in the office band. Five years ago, her life was forever altered by a simple slip on ice.

“I lived life large,” Clark says. “Now it’s very much about living small.”

Friday, Clark leaned heavily on the arm of her grown son, Alex, as she left the building.

Natalia Rybczynski, 46, holds a PhD in biological anthropology and anatomy from Duke University. She was a researcher at the Museum of Nature and a professor at Carleton University. Her passion was leading paleontology expeditions to the High Arctic. Along the trail she blazed, Natalia discovered new fossil mammals and was featured in scientific journals, including the journal Nature. In 2015 she was named one of Canada’s top explorers.

STAGES OF SPIRITUAL GROWTH 2

There are three different stages of spiritual growth.

In each of these stages, you grows a little.

  1. When you begin, you are trying to overcome sin and you go through purification. You try to take the sin out of your life. You will then move on to a stage where sin is put out of your life.
  2. To enter this stage, the dark night of senses will usually occur. When Jesus was taken away from the apostles, they went through their dark night experience.
  3. Finally, you have a sense of conscience and the Holy Spirit operates in you more. You will evolve into a loving union with God. Having perfect joy is the farthest that we can go in this world. Not many people make it this far.

SUFFERING JOY

Long-suffering is synonymous to patient and enduring.  We must be long-suffering when we see the weaknesses of our brothers and sisters in the faith.

It will be the patience and long suffering of the Holy Spirit that will be the only thing that will give you the ability to last the entire length of a storm cloud or trial. You must learn to ride and flow with the patience of the Holy Spirit in your daily life and walk with the Lord – and you will then be able to enter into a much more restful and peaceful state within your mind and emotions.

A spirit-filled person has joy on his heart. Joy and pleasure are two different things. Continue reading STAGES OF SPIRITUAL GROWTH 2

THE PALESTINE QUESTION 2

THE PALESTINIAN DILEMMAPALESTINE QUESTION

The Palestine Question is the most complex political question in the modern world. It all started in European Countries East and West, when the Jews living there among the Christian populations were unable to mix freely with the prevalent people, but stuck to themselves as a superior entity, and refused assimilation.

Many countries started to persecute them or make their lives in Europe unpleasant. We remember the image of the itinerant Jew.

In Spain, the Catholic Church became radicalized through political nationalism. Thousand were killed and both Arabs and Jews were kicked out of Spain.

The following true story shows that the Zionists forced their co-religionists against their will to cut themselves from any communications with the “Goyim”( gentile, non-Jew).

Musa el Alami was born in the old quarter of Jerusalem. Their next door neighbour was a Jewish family. Both families lived in peace among themselves with mutual help and respect for each other. The Jewish brother was contacted by the Zionists and forced to cut his relations with Musa and his family. He was beaten by the Zionists, and his family was forced to leave the area of old Jerusalem and relocated in Tel Aviv. No fraternization was allowed whatsoever with their Arab brethren. If this were not racism, what is it?

It was the same reason at the time of the Babylon Diaspora. The Jews, who had married foreign women, had to divorce them and leave them to their fate with their children in Babylon.                                                                                                                                           Esdras 10:10-14

The “Philistines” (came from the Aegean Islands and from Crete). They came on different waves of migrations, seeking lands to settle in, and remake their lives. As the people in any island grow in number, this forces some of its inhabitants to migrate.

They came at first to the Nile Delta, and were pushed eastwards by the Pharaohs soldiers to the Coast of Canaan where they established their city-states like Gaza, Ashkelon, Ashdod, Ekron, Jaffa and Gerar. Then they intermarried with the Canaanites, the first nations of the Fertile Crescent, and who originally came from Arabia to seek water for their flocks of sheep, goats and camels.

The Philistines were in Palestine 600 years before Israel was born. First, the Philistines did not come as conquerors in a frontal assault, but rather in small numbers and in consecutive waves of immigration.  It was the Philistines who learned the Canaanite language, and adopted all customs of the Canaanites.

The Canaanites originated in Arabia, and they came to the Fertile Crescent in the quest of water, thousands of years before the birth of Abraham.

They acquired the Canaanite political system the “City State”, agriculture, industry; each town had its own king its own government and has to defend itself from its enemies by its own power without the help of neighboring towns. This type of government was also in Ancient Greece.

PALESTINE QUESTION.

When the Jews were captive in Babylon, they build a town on the shore of the Euphrates called Tel Aviv; 2,500 years later they built a town also called Tel Aviv on the coastal sand dunes of Jaffa. The reason for their coming into the Fertile Crescent was: “WATER”. Continue reading THE PALESTINE QUESTION 2

CAN THERE BE JOY IN SUFFERING? 2

WHY SUFFERING?

We will all experience pain at sometime or other in our lives. Whether this pain is our doing or God’s doing, which is something entirely different. Why an all-good, all-loving God does allow us to suffer?

Easy! He allows us all sorts of things because we have the freedom to behave as we will. He has also provided a place with the greatest contentment that we can imagine, if only we listen to Him. God wants us to return to Him, but He cannot force us to take this action.

SUFFERING JOY

SUFFERING AND JOY

God changes what suffering can do; it can make us one with God.

We are all called to the perfect joy. The Holy Spirit changes our sorrow and suffering into joy. “But the fruit of the Holy Spirit is love, joy, peace, long suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.”                  Galatians 5: 22-23

Fear not“, because God  is always with you, even in times that seem very obscure to you: “They do not know My ways. Psalm 95:10

Billy Graham’s daughter was interviewed on the Early Show and she was asked, How could God let something like this happen?‘ (regarding Hurricane Katrina).  Anne Graham gave an extremely profound and insightful response..  She said, ‘I believe God is deeply saddened by this, just as we are, but for years we’ve been telling God to get out of our schools, to get out of our government and to get out of our lives.  And being the gentleman He is, I believe He has calmly backed out.

How can we expect God to give us His blessing and His protection if we demand He leave us alone?

SUFFERING JOYSuffering does not Rob you of Joy.

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness.” 1 Thessalonians 1:6  “And the disciples were filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit.”                                          Acts 13:52

Joy and sorrow comes together in the Christian life. You can’t have joy without sorrow and you can’t have sorrow without joy. One must focus on the spiritual joy and our need for that gift which the Holy Spirit gives us. We need the consolation of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit consoles us in our trials.

Better times are coming (but not for those who live in a bad way). Already the world is aging, it is turning to decay, and are we ourselves going to become young again? What are we hoping for, then?

Maybe, it is necessary that times be hard. Why? So that we don’t look for happiness in this world.

This is our remedy: this life needs to be troubled so that we attach ourselves to the other life. How? Listen… God sees people becoming miserably agitated under the grip of their desires and the worries of this world. Then the Lord comes to them like a physician bearing the cure.                                                                                 St.Augustine (354-430)

We walk in a “ravine as dark as death” Psalm 23:4, and still we have nothing to fear because God is at our side: God’s staff and crook are there to soothe us. This is not just a consoling idea. It is an experience of the heart that we can trust.

Our lives can be full of suffering, pain, disillusions, losses and grief, but they are also marked by visions of the coming of the Son of Man “like lightning striking in the east and flashing far into west” Matthew 24:27. These moments in which we see clearly, hear loudly, and feel deeply that God is with us on the journey make us shine as a light into the darkness. Jesus says, “You are the light of the world. Your light must shine in people’s sight, so that, seeing your good works, they may give praise to your Father in heaven”.                                                                                                   Matthew 5:14-16             Henri Nouwen
