One of the greatest gifts we can offer our family and friends is helping them to die well. We have to sit quietly with them and say: “Do not be afraid … I love you, God loves you … it’s time for you to go in peace. … I won’t cling to you any longer … I set you free to go home … go gently, go with my love.” It is the greatest gift that you can give.

When Jesus died he said: “Father, into your hands I commit My Spirit”. Luke 23:46 It is good to repeat these words often with our dying friends.

“The LORD is my Shepherd; I shall not want … and I shall dwell in the house of the LORD for years to come.”                          Psalms 23:1, 6

Death frees us from the boundaries of chronology and brings us into God’s “time,” which is timeless. There is no “past,” “present,” or “future.”

Is  supernatural evangelism by healing biblical? Jesus did not rely on words alone to convince people as to who he was. Many times he said that if they did not believe His words then they should believe because of His miracles:“I did tell you, but you do not believe. The miracles I do in My Father’s name speak for Me” John 10:25

When Jesus appeared to His disciples, He gave them the Great Commission: “Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. And these signs shall follow them that believe; in My name shall they cast out devils …they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. Mark 16:15, 18 Jesus also said: “I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in Me will do what I have been doing”.                                                                                                               John 14:12

Supernatural Evangelism

We fail to do it the Jesus way because we are afraid of failure and embarrassment, which is natural. Remember all of the direction given in the Last Great Commission:   It includes a missionary effort.

While on mission, you simply cannot say hello, I wish you well and goodbye. God knows that you must have the tools that you need to make a difference. Those who have dedicated themselves to become Christian Lay Missionaries discover that the Holy Spirit has endowed them with the gift of healing. This gift does not disappear when you come back home: it is real and immediate healing.

In the book of Acts the apostles continually declared that people were healed in the Name of Jesus. Physical healing, miracles, and gifts of the Spirit were regular occurrences as the early Christians engaged in evangelism.  This was consistent with the life and ministry of Jesus, and it illustrated His promise that “these signs will accompany those who believe.”                                                    Mark 16:17 Continue reading SUPERNATURAL EVANGELISM USING HEALING

Bucket List God  Making a BUCKET LIST is Easy.

You might already love writing lists even about God. You simply start writing down the things that you’ve always wanted to do but that you never got around to doing like bungee jumping, skydiving, traveling to Italy or learning French; something that you have always wanted to do. Sound simple?   Let’s talk about Bucket List of God.

Your initial list doesn’t have to be a “Pie in the Sky” list. The key of course is to simply start writing the first things that come into your head. By this way, you are being true to your innermost core, and being honest with yourself is the most important thing of all. Like many people, your career is probably at the top of your bucket list.  Yet, don’t be surprised — someday — when you look back on your life and say, “Is that all there is?” Maybe you should find some balance in your life.

God's Bucket List

Our Creator is in the business of creating order out of chaos. God uses lists to help us order our lives and learn more about him. He used a seven-day plan to create the universe. He gave Moses a list on Mount Sinai—the Ten Commandments. Jesus provided a wonderfully useful list of eternal values, the Beatitudes, as a code of ethics for those who would follow him. The nine fruit of the Spirit are listed in Galatians as virtues God develops in every believer. God doesn’t want us to obsess about making lists or panic about checking off dozens of specific tasks before we die, but lists can be very handy.

Maybe you forgot the spiritual things in life? Where is God in all this?” It’s time to stop thinking about what you want and instead consider and discern what God wants. God’s bucket list for your life might include things that have a bit more eternal value. Things that help you leave a worthy legacy or break through the roadblocks in your life. There we will find abundance beyond measure.

God Bucket List

“The key to this grand way of living life is submitting to God’s version of fulfillment and abundance instead of insisting He bless, approve and put the final stamp on our own version of things.” We are talking about real joy that is bigger and better than anything we have imagined. Failures need not signify the end of anything. There are different ways to look at failure. If we believe deeply enough in life and we believe in God, a failure in one area may open up an opportunity somewhere else. Those who succeed in life are the ones who refuse to be conditioned

Be true to yourself! Imagine your universe in its majesty, order, power and beauty; when we study the earth’s skies, mountains, oceans, valleys and tides, and when we analyze the human body and mind: how they are formed and their complexities, is it not natural to conclude that a great Intelligence is responsible for it all?

Hand of God

Only when you keep calling for God’s help, as a child cries for help from mom or dad… Only when you learn to approach God as a little child… will you begun to understand…  So great, yet so tender.  So powerful, yet so gentle.

Hand of God NASAHand of God NASA

You hold the universe in Your hands. You hold me, a child on Your knee. Please, Lord, keep hold of me.

This will give you great hope:  Because Jesus says, “Let the little children come to me, don’t stop them. It’s to such as these that the kingdom of God belongs.” Matthew 19:14 And “truly I tell you–whoever doesn’t receive the kingdom of God as a little child will never enter it.”

Only when you begin to realize and admit to God and yourself that you are incapable of fixing your life on your own…

Who God is in His Essence, no one will fathom, neither the mind of Angels nor of man. Get to know God by contemplating His attributes: His holiness; His justice; and the third one is His love and mercy. It unites the creature with the Creator.

The Bible tells us that God says when you converse with Him in the depths of your heart, every single grace comes to you through prayer. A sinful soul, plunged in sins, must pray so that it might rise again.  If we do not persevere in such prayer, we frustrate what the Lord wanted to do through us or within us.

A War at the Center of Each Person

“I love you.

There is often a war at the center of each person. The war is between Me and the spirits of the world. The fight is between a spirit of slavery and the freedom I bring.

My coming into the world brought a new light into the world. I came to fight against the darkness. If you believe in Me the light is shining in you and I live in your heart.

I wish to chase away all the darkness of your heart and I will accomplish this the more you submit to Me.

Do not compromise with the spirits of the world but be completely submitted to Me. Do not give in to despair, doubt, anger or lust, for these are the ways that the spirits of the world destroys My light in you. Do not give these evil spirits an opening by indulging in these temptations.

Instead you need to come to prayer to be strengthened and to grow in My love. I have defeated the evil one on the cross and I will defeat him in you if you remain with Me. You shall be free and I will give you My peace. I love you.”

The above messages came to Father Melvin Doucette:

Fr. Melvin Doucette was ordained to the priesthood on and joined the Missionaries of Africa for 29 years in Africa. In contemplative prayer every morning, Fr. Doucette receives by interior locution “messages from heaven” to share with the public.

God divinely inspired the BIBLE . How do we know? Each of eight accurate predictions  show a high probability mathematically. The probability of one individual fulfilling eight prophecies have odds of 1 in 10 17  (1 in 100,000,000,000,000,000). Jesus Christ fulfilled all prophecies, therefore the Bible MUST BE TRUE.

The Old Testament indicates another 40 astonishing predictions.

Christianity experiences stunning growth—from approximately 3.8 million adherents in China in 1956 to an estimated 87 to 100 million Christians today.

In the end, one Christian conversion will benefit the whole family.  The gifts of the Holy Spirit of healing and deliverance will help the whole family. A prayer of deliverance of evil spirits will leave any member of the family with a complete sense of peace immediately. A prayer of healing from a Christian disciple produces 80% healing. The remaining healing comes from continued prayer of praise and thanksgiving until all the healing is complete. This healing comes from the Holy Spirit through the power in the Name of Jesus Christ.  No other god or deity or doctor uses this power. This proves the TRUTH OF CHRISTIANITY.

Christianity and Hinduism Differences

Christianity is not a philosophy, but it is  a relationship with God, your Creator,  in Christ TODAY. It is not knowledge of abstract principles.  How do we know this? Healing takes place TODAY in the Name of Jesus Christ.

Many Christian disciples use the gift of healing.  They also use deliverance to deliver away evil spirits influencing people. These evil spirits cause depression, addictions and illness through all forms of stress.  Only the Name of Jesus Christ makes healing and deliverance possible.Chinese Religion God

Jesus is alive today! He heals today (through His followers) and in many cases it is realized immediately. How else can you explain the explosion of Christianity, the world’s largest religion, on earth: 2.2 billion adherents, nearly a third (31 percent) of all 6.9 billion people on Earth.

Christians know and feel His Presence; they communicate with Him personally; Christian prayers are always answered.

This author has been given the Gift of Healing only because he is a Christian Lay Missionary, who travels  two to three places every year. On his last trip to Columbia he successfully transferred his Gift to his Spanish translators, who were able to heal as he did. He has healed Muslims to their great surprise.

He also delivers away evil spirits along with their healing. All those who are delivered from evil spirits feel a complete physical  sense of peace.

God can give a message to those non-Christians to change their heart.  God knows faith will be developed eventually. God will come to you in the form of dreams or visions. So be sensitive to any dreams or visions, when you ask God for it earnestly.

Is the BIBLE true?

Was Jesus a Revolutionary?

Was Jesus, then, a revolutionary? Not in any sense that Lenin or Trotsky would have recognized. When people hear the words radical and revolutionary they instantly think of some aggressive, gun toting, anarchist that has motives to overthrow an earthly government, but that was not the intentions of Jesus. The word “radical” comes from a Latin word “radix” which simply means “to cut to the root” as in “radical surgery” to remove a cancerous growth. In this sense, Jesus was a radical with a radical message that was indeed meant to cut to the root of wrong and remove it from our lives.

The Mediterranean Sea was still a geographer’s main point of reference, if not the center of the world. In 2 A.D., a census of the Han dynasty showed that its people numbered around 57.5 million. The Roman Empire, which had around 45 million people in it at the time, did not know about any Chinese civilization.

map before Jesusmap before Jesus

If you want to know what it was like before Jesus Christ walked the Earth, all you have to do is read a few history books written before 0 AD. There was discrimination in Ancient Greece: Plato wrote in The Republic that it would be an ideal state that “every member of the community must be assigned to the class for which he finds himself best fitted.  Aristotle philosophized that people should be given goods and assets according to their merit.

Before Christ, except among the Jewish People, religion was a “blind search for God.” Life before Christ was filled with superstition, fear of the unknown and an attempt to make sense of a world and universe they could not possibly understand. Man made gods in his own image, usually celebrations of his vices or his needs.  Most of the stuff associated with the cave paintings is presumed to be associated with some form of shamanic practices, or more accurately nature worship or animism.

Pre-Christian faiths were not uniform; their gods had no consistent meaning to all adherents, they had no central dogmas or tenets. The most famous god in Ancient Greek was Zeus.

Let us reflect at these times when slavery and subjugation of women was typical. From the dawn of human society every woman was in a state of bondage to some man, because she was of value to him and she had less muscular strength than he did.

Christianity women rights ancient history

No woman in Athens could own anything more than her own clothing, jewelry and personal slave. When she was ready to marry, her father or other guardian would choose a potential husband.  In the early days of the Roman Republic women were not even allowed to make suggestions, at least in public.

Avarice is what the inner condition of the heart gives rise to greed, which is typically categorized as excessive acquisition and excessive retaining of money and possessions: an overflowing shopping cart or anything that is a “great deal”.” What is Avarice? It is the holding on to one’s possessions with an unyielding grip.

“Watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; a man’s life does not consist of what is the abundance of his possessions.”                                                                                                                                    Luke 12:15

What avariceLike the other vices rooted in pride, greed is a do-it-yourself method of finding happiness, instead of being content to what God has given us and depending on His provision—the opposite to generosity. This virtue is about freedom – freedom from being too attached to money and whatever money can buy as opposed to a greedy person’s tight-fisted grip on money as his or hers. The generous is ready to give with pleasure when and where they feel they should. Here is the perfect test: is giving away things easy and enjoyable?

Our giving always needs to leave adequate provision for ourselves and those under our care.  This is a matter of practical wisdom. The problem comes when one must determine what is excess.

Yes, it is harder to give away something that you have sweated over to acquire. It is always much easier to be generous with other people’s money. Finally it comes down to a simple question: do we possess our possessions or are we possessed by them?  “By your great skill in trading you have increased your wealth, and because of your wealth your heart has grown proud.”                          Ezekiel 28:5

It is possible to have a second related vice: first we over-acquire, and then we over-trash. This is a lifestyle of excessive and careless spending. We are also likely to be in dire need for more money, which becomes a vicious circle. “Whoever loves money never has money enough; whoever loves wealth is never satisfied with his income. This too is meaningless.”                                   Ecclesiastes 5:10

Christian Humanism: Dangers

The Danger of Christian Humanism

It is important to understand that a true Christian cannot be a humanist. Christian humanism’s motto could read “If you just believe in God, you can do anything” or “Now that you’ve got God, you can achieve your wildest dreams.” Christian humanism has an affinity for Bible verses like:

“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”                                                                                                                                                       Philippians 4:13

This verse can be interpreted as being about me, me, me, me, and me. God did His part, now it’s our turn to do ours. God is a distant old man who just wants to make me happy.

I can come to Jesus without ever having to abandon the old self. I can come to Jesus without ever having to let go of my dreams, my plans, my goals, and my desires. As a matter of fact, Christian humanism empowers me to be all I can be, to just do it, etc. because, after all, I can do all things through Christ.

Christian Humanism

Christianity teaches that liberty, individual conscience and intellectual freedom are compatible with Christian principles and that the Bible itself promotes human fulfillment—based on God’s salvation in Christ and subject to God’s sovereign control of the universe. Jesus taught that, though we are in the world, we’re not of the world. Romans 2:2

The solution: one word — Humility

Does Islam Attack Christians?

Islam and Christians

There is a move in the United States and the entire Western World to block anything from being said negatively against Islam. Exposing Islam and its doctrines that are contrary to Western culture is called Hate Speech. Does Islam attack Christians? In both Europe and Canada, Christians have been heavily fined and threatened with jail for speaking negatively about Islam. Telling the truth accurately means nothing, as it is classified as Hate Speech. Islam is being packaged and sold to the West as a peaceful religion. Is Islam really peaceful?

The Bible was written 500 years before Muhammad and therefore has nothing to say about Islam. In fact, the Bible only directly condemns pagan worship. By doctrine and teachings, the Bible disagrees with the eastern religions like Hinduism, but it does not condemn them.

Islam Christians

The Koran is different from the major doctrines of Christianity.

  1. The teaching that is unique to the Christian faith is that there is one God who eternally manifests Himself in three persons: the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. This is known as the Godhead or the blessed Trinity.
  2. The second critical doctrine is that Jesus of Nazareth is the only begotten Son of God; therefore He is unique from everyone else. His Father was not human, but the holy God of Israel.
  3. The third key doctrine is that the Lord Jesus died on the cross to pay the penalty for man’s sin and then rose from the dead. There are other important doctrines, but these three really comprise the very heart of the Christian faith.

The Blessed Holy Trinity

The Koran clearly states that Christians lie when claiming God is in the form of a Trinity. These are strong words; however this is exactly what the Koran states. The Koran claims that the Lord Jesus is only an apostle and for Christians to desist from teaching the blessed Trinity. In one Sura, the Koran denies the Lord Jesus is the Son of God.

In another Sura the Koran attacks the very heart of Christianity by denying the blessed Trinity and that the Lord Jesus is the only begotten Son of God! It calls a stop for Christians who are liars. It demands that the preaching of the Trinity and Jesus being the Son of God be stopped . The Koran identifies Christians sometimes as “followers of the book,” but when they proclaim Christian doctrine, the Koran then calls them liars. Muhammad writes that it is acceptable to believe the Bible, but not Christian doctrine!

The Lord Jesus is the Only Begotten Son of God

Sura 4.171 O followers of the Book (Christians)! do not exceed the limits in your religion, and do not speak (lies) against Allah, but (speak) the truth; the Messiah, Isa son of Marium (Mary) is only an apostle of Allah and His Word which He communicated to Marium and a spirit from Him; believe therefore in Allah and His apostles, Allah is only one God…

In at least 11 Suras, the Koran states that God does not have a Son! This is clearly aimed at Christianity because no other faith claims that God has a literal Son. The Koran even states in Sura 9:30 that those that believe Allah has a son should be destroyed by Allah! Is this written to attack this Christian doctrine?

The Lord Jesus Died on the Cross

The Koran literally says the Lord Jesus did not die on the cross. It claims that He appeared to have died on the cross, but He was not killed nor was He crucified. The Koran thus rejects His redemption of man from sin.

Sura 4.157 And their saying: Surely we have killed the Messiah, Isa [Jesus] son of Marium, the apostle of Allah; and they did not kill him nor did they crucify him, but it appeared to them so (like Isa) and most surely those who differ therein are only in a doubt about it; they have no knowledge respecting it, but only follow a conjecture, and they killed him, but not for sure.

Islam Christians

According to Islam the worst sin a person can commit is shirk. This sin is also called association. This means associating Allah with a man. The very heart of Christianity that the Lord is the Son of God is the worst sin in Islam! According to the Koran, Allah forbids heaven to anyone who commits this sin and their abode is hell without any help.

Sura 5.72  Certainly they disbelieve who say: Surely Allah, He is the Messiah, son of Marium; and the Messiah said: O Children of Israel! serve Allah, my Lord and your Lord. Surely whoever associates (others) with Allah, then Allah has forbidden to him the garden, and his abode is the fire; and there shall be no helpers for the unjust.

The Koran and Islam by their very nature are anti-Christian, and therefore in our modern world’s way of thinking, it is hate speech. There can never be reconciliation between Islam and Christianity because the very heart of Islam is anti-Christian.

When Muhammad wrote the Koran, he knew exactly what he was doing. He was creating a new religion which rivaled Christianity. He wanted to make sure there was no connection between the God of Islam and the God of Israel.

Spiritual Insight

There are, in my life, times and moments of spiritual insight; that is, divine illuminations, when the soul receives inward instruction about things it has not read in any book and has not been taught by any person. These are times of great inner knowledge which God himself imparts to the soul. These are great mysteries. Diary 1102

Holiness, Justice, Goodness

In the beginning, God lets himself be known as Holiness, Justice, Goodness that is to say, Mercy. The soul does not come to know this all at once, but piecemeal, in flashes; that is to say, when God draws near. And this does not last for long, because the soul could not bear such light. This light which has touched the soul is alive within it, and nothing can either quench or diminish it. This flash of the knowledge of God draws the soul and enkindles its love for Him.                                                                                                                                     Diary 95

“Souls that make an appeal to My mercy delight Me. To such souls I grant even more graces than they ask. I cannot punish even the greatest sinner if he makes an appeal to My compassion, but on the contrary, I justify him in My unfathomable and inscrutable mercy”.                                                                                                         Diary 1146

The great theme of the messages which Faustina relates in her diary is one of the Mercy of God. In 1931, Sister Faustina said that Jesus appeared with His right hand raised in blessing, and with two rays, one red and one white, emanating from His heart. Jesus asked her to have this image painted and to have the words, “Jesus, I trust in You,” placed under the image. HE IS THE KING OF MERCY!

“The rays,” Jesus explained, “represent the Blood and Water that gushed forth from the depths of My mercy when My agonizing heart was pieced on the cross. The pale rays symbolize the water, which cleanses and purifies the soul. These rays will shield the soul before the justice of My Father. Fortunate are those who live in this shelter, for the justice of God will not reach them there.”

Not having any resources, Sister Faustina had to trust that God would see to the image’s being painted and disseminated.

I remind you, My daughter, that as often as you hear the clock strike the third hour, immerse yourself completely in My mercy, adoring and glorifying it; invoke its omnipotence for the whole world, and particularly for poor sinners; for at that moment mercy was opened wide for every soul“.                                                  Diary 1572
