When Neymar’s Brazil won gold in its home Olympics in 2016, Neymar took the podium to receive his gold medal with a headband reading “100% Jesus.” Yet this ostensible display of devotion caused controversy, given the star player’s out of wedlock son and public love life. Fame and fortune are always dangerous to the Christian.

TWO MINDSThere are those who have two minds because one is wavering or inconstant. This person has no settled principles. He is controlled by passion; he may be influenced by popular feeling. In other words, he is inclined to one opinion or course of conduct, and now to another. “A man is of two minds, unstable in all his ways.”      James 1:8

David of the Old Testament commanded that Bathsheba’s husband, Uriah, be put at the front lines of the battle and that the troops be pulled back from him. Just as David had hoped, Uriah was killed. David then took Bathsheba as his wife.

David’s behavior presents a perfect example of a double-minded man. Even though he had God’s Life in his heart and had been “a man after God’s own heart,” he nevertheless chose to go with the tide and follow the lusts of his own flesh over what God was prompting him to do.

A double-minded man is unstable in all his ways. Are you unstable about your relationship to Christ?

If you lack wisdom, you must ask for it.

Man and women were not created as solitary beings but as the ones who would recognize each other as flesh of their flesh and bones of their bones, as the ones who are capable of friendship and total surrender to each other, as the ones who are capable of life-giving acts in its many forms. God intended complementary and interdependent relatedness of men and women. God ordered the right proportion so that not one of them would infringe improperly on another. Women are the other side of man, as complementary, rather than inferior.

Of course, man and woman in their sexual union and begetting of children can become co-creators with God. Their love and action can mirror the Love of God. They are to be partners like body and soul which God joined together as one. Yet, sexuality is often encountered as lust or abusive and not life-giving.

God also intended this union to strive to build a spiritual marriage. Couples with a strong shared faith do have an advantage over those who don’t. Husbands and wives who have put their faith and trust in Jesus Christ are in touch with the Life that pulses at the center of the universe in a way that others can never be.

The world is not moving in a great direction. Yes, the world is a mess in a hundred different ways every day. Most people don’t believe that it is possible to change the world.

But it can. How? The changes will not come from government, not from the economy or big business, not from science. The best group of people who are positioned to make a difference is Christians. How is this possible? It is simple but not easy.

Change the World

We will change the world by behaving like Christians. There are over two billion Christians in the world and they have a tremendous influence.

Part of the problem is that Christians have blind spots. They don’t see things as they really are. They don’t see our marriage, our career, our business, our personal finances, our children’s school and even our own church as it really is. We still have biases and prejudices. Jesus wants to liberate us from our blind spots and to help us see things as they really are and to see ourselves as we really are.

We actually fool ourselves. We never admit to ourselves that we are greedy. We never say that we like money too much. Even stingy people think that they are generous. So we don’t see ourselves as we really are. Continue reading LET’S CHANGE THE WORLD

Meet four members of the Concussion Injury Group, a band of advocates so determined they risk taxing their personal health, short-term, for the end game of better care for others.

Three of the four lost top career positions due to sudden, and freak brain injury. A fourth had her career path altered but is about to graduate, thanks to home-schooling and the online courses of Carleton University.

Jane Clark, 55, was a leading patent litigation lawyer. She kept company with scientists from around the globe, held senior management positions, did volunteer work in the community and sang in the office band. Five years ago, her life was forever altered by a simple slip on ice.

“I lived life large,” Clark says. “Now it’s very much about living small.”

Friday, Clark leaned heavily on the arm of her grown son, Alex, as she left the building.

Natalia Rybczynski, 46, holds a PhD in biological anthropology and anatomy from Duke University. She was a researcher at the Museum of Nature and a professor at Carleton University. Her passion was leading paleontology expeditions to the High Arctic. Along the trail she blazed, Natalia discovered new fossil mammals and was featured in scientific journals, including the journal Nature. In 2015 she was named one of Canada’s top explorers.

How: Cross-country ski collision.

When: 2011
Symptoms: Layering of issues, headaches, nausea, fatigue. Physiological issues related to heart rate. Exercise intolerance.
Career interrupted: Medical retirement as research scientist, Museum of Nature. Carleton University professor. PhD from Duke University.
Quote: “Concussion research is exploding, and the medical community is scrambling to catch up.” Continue reading CONCUSSION INJURY HEALED

Was my Catholic friend merely a devoted husband, a wonderful friend, and a good man?

Catholics who are “devout” and “inconsistent” can be saved.

“There are genuine Christians who are devout and inconsistent Roman Catholics. Devout is in the sense that they’re earnest, serious, and sincere. Inconsistent is in the sense that their true heart embrace of Jesus is better than their mental ideas or doctrines.

A person will be saved — even if many doctrinal ideas are confused or erroneous:

  • “If a person has a genuine encounter with the living Christ and recognizes the hopelessness we are in without grace and without Christ,
  • and if they see that “Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” Romans 10:9

CATHOLICS GO TO HEAVENCatholics believe they are justified by God’s grace which is a free gift but it is received through baptism initially, through the faith which works by love in the continuous life of the Christian and through the sacrament of reconciliation if the grace of justification is lost through mortal sin. The Church teaches that we can be saved only by God’s grace.  Continue reading WILL CATHOLICS GO TO HEAVEN? 2

Addiction Recovery can take months and for some many years involving medication. There is a short cut that God provides in the form of Grace, which is a mysterious interweaving of divine grace and human willingness.

We may yearn to let go and let God,” but it usually doesn’t happen until we have exhausted our own efforts.

addiction grace

Most people are addicted to something, be it a substance or one’s own self-concept. Anything that steals life from us and causes us to make illogical or hasty decisions is our addiction: anything we cling to instead of God. The object of the addiction, whether it is drugs or alcohol or sex are not the primary issue. Rather, it is becoming obsessed with them: a false sense of love. It includes many other areas: chocolate, food, Facebook, power, fame, pornography, even driving too fast, etc.

The truth is, we were never meant to be completely satisfied. Saint Augustine states “You have made us for Yourself, O Lord, and our heart is restless until it rests in You.” We give all our time and energy to the addiction, instead of love. We were created for love but we seek it apart from the Creator. Addiction, then, displaces and supplants God’s love as the source and object of our deepest true desire.

Addiction is a spiritual disease, a disease of the soul, an illness resulting from this same longing, frustrated desire, and deep dissatisfaction – which is ironically the necessary beginning of any spiritual path.” Continue reading HEALING THE ADDICTIVE BRAIN

Grace is God’s sudden and calming presence during the stormy parts of our lives. Failures are forgivable. Life takes on a new purpose. God is within sight and within reach.

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast.”                                                                                  Ephesians 2:8, 9

Take a leap of faith in your journey in going deeper with Christ and drink the ‘heavy water’, stronger grace – that is available to all.

Don’t be afraid to drink in stronger grace with Christ.  It will bring you to your destination – the intended destination for all of us, union with God – sooner: “For my yoke is easy and my burden light                                                                                                                                   Matthew 11:30

You want to see great power? You want to see miracles around you? Reach out for grace: it changes everything.

Grace is unlimited. It releases heaven’s supernatural power on your behalf. “By the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace to me was not without effect.”                                               1 Corinthians 15:10

Grace runs counter to the way the world works. God’s pure grace gets polluted from two types of people, namely, one who is too good for the grace of God; the other thinks he is too evil.

But the good news of God’s grace is that no sinner is beyond the reach of God’s grace. God moves heaven and earth to save sinners who could not lift a finger to save themselves.

There is no one who does not need God’s grace, and there is no one beyond the reach of God’s grace, because grace is a gratuitous gift from God.

For man, the right to life is the fundamental right. The defense of a right to every life means the right to be born and then continue to live until one’s natural end: “As long as I live, I have the right to life.”

god proof

This applies to the lives of children yet unborn and thus incapable of defending themselves.

It’s called “partial birth abortion”. Unborn babies, usually over 20 weeks gestation, are pulled alive from the womb with forceps until only the head remains in the cervix. After puncturing the base of the skull, the brain is suctioned out, the skull collapses, and the dead child is delivered. The procedure is legal in Canada for two reasons: one is that there are no laws restricting abortion here, thus, a nine month pregnancy can be terminated, even up to the due date; the second is because Canada’s Criminal Code states that, until a baby is born, it is not recognized as a “human”.1 Thus, even if a baby is fully grown and the head remains in the birth canal, it is still not considered “human” until it is fully delivered.

The fact that politicians and doctors in our country pretend that a baby is not human until all the body is delivered is one of the most absurd modern tenets in existence.

We are utter fools if we think we can shed innocent blood and not reap what we have sown, especially when we so willfully turn a blind eye to reality. We are deceived to believe that God’s hand of protection will remain over a country that systematically turns its back on the unborn, traditional marriage, and soon, the sick and elderly.

“The victor will inherit these gifts, and I shall be his God, and he will be My son. But as for cowards, the unfaithful, the depraved, murderers, the unchaste, sorcerers, idol-worshipers, and deceivers of every sort, their lot is in the burning pool of fire and sulfur, which is the second death.”                                                                                                                    Revelation 21:7-8

A Biblical Prophetic Fulfillment: “It will all come about when history has been completed. God will then bring together all things in heaven and on earth under one ruler. The ruler is Christ.”                                                                                                                                         Ephesians 1:10

The Timing and Seasons of God

“Follow the way of love and eagerly desire gifts of the Spirit, especially prophecy.”                                                                    Corinthians 14:1

The Prophet, Isaiah, prophesied in his day 700 years before Christ: “For to us a Child is born, to us a Son is given, and the government will be on His shoulders. And He will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace. ”                                                                                                                                    Isaiah 9:6

“Truly I tell you, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened. Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will never pass away.”                                  Matthew 24:34

“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the LORD. As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts.”                                                                                       Isaiah 55: 8, 9

But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day.”                                                                                                                                               2 Peter 3:8

So what is God saying to us through his Word?

The Eucharist in the Life of St. Faustina

There was a very special place for the Holy Eucharist in the life of Saint Maria Faustina.  Holy Communion was the strength and support of St. Faustina in her every day struggle of life. The Lord told her: “In the Host is the power; it will defend you always.        Diary 616

It was only Saint Faustina to whom Jesus gave explicit instructions to write His words regarding the new devotion that He wished to establish in the world. This diary is an actual record of Jesus’ words to St. Faustina.

A  regular experience for  St. Faustina was the vision of the Lord during Holy Mass. Over sixty such visions are recorded in her diary, mostly of the infant Jesus, a few occasions with the Blessed Mother, and at other times, Jesus during His passion and some of His majesty.

Some dozen times she records seeing the rays of mercy as in the image of the Merciful Savior coming from the Holy Eucharist, at times covering the world         Diary of St. Faustina  420, 441, 1046

Again and again, Jesus told St. Faustina that He had chosen her period in history to pour out His mercy upon mankind, in preparation for His Second Coming. Thus, she saw that her state of “living host” was a pure, unmerited gift of Divine Mercy.

She had a special relationship to the Holy Eucharist, because Jesus gave her a clear understanding of this mystery. She describes it “as the wonderful gift of His presence on earth”. During Mass, “I thanked the Lord Jesus for having redeemed us and for having given us the greatest of all gifts, the Holy Eucharist”. “You wanted to stay with us, and so you left us yourself in the Sacrament of the Altar, and you opened wide your mercy to us. You opened an inexhaustible spring of mercy for us, giving us your dearest possession, the Blood and Water, that gushed forth from Your Heart”                                                   Diary 1747

“On leaving the earth, O Lord, You wanted to stay with us, and so You left us Yourself in the Sacrament of the Altar, and You opened wide Your mercy to us.”                                                                        Diary 1747

Jesus said, “I am the living bread that came down from heaven. Whoever eats this bread will live forever. This bread is My flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.”                                                            John 6: 51

Just as the living Father sent Me and I live because of the Father, so the one who feeds on Me will live because of Me. This is the bread that came down from heaven. Your ancestors ate manna and died, but whoever feeds on this bread will live forever.”                         John 6: 57,58

Effect on an Indifferent Person

“Behold, the treasures of grace that flow down upon souls, but not all souls know how to take advantage of my generosity.”         Diary 1687

“It pains Me very much when religious souls receive the Sacrament of Love merely out of habit, as if they did not distinguish this food. I find neither faith nor love in their hearts. I go to such souls with great reluctance. It would be better if they did not receive Me”  Diary 1288

So none of it happens if our attitude isn’t right. “In a false person,” writes St. Thomas Aquinas, “the sacrament does not produce any effect.” One is false if in one’s heart, one does not desire this union and does not even try to remove every obstacle to it. Christ therefore does not remain in him or her, neither does he or she in Christ.

What I need to do is to acknowledge my unworthiness to receive such a gift, and prepare my heart to enter communion with Him, trusting in His merciful love for me, saying, “Lord, I do not deserve to have you come under my roof. But just say the word, and I shall be healed.”                                                                                                       Matthew 8:8

“Oh, how painful it is to Me that souls so seldom unite themselves to Me in Holy Communion. I wait for souls, and they are indifferent toward Me. I love them tenderly and sincerely, and they distrust Me. I want to lavish My graces on them, and they do not want to accept them. They treat Me as a dead object, whereas My Heart is full of love and mercy. ”                                                                                                                               Diary 1447

Jesus’ words to Saint Faustina: “I desire to unite Myself with human souls… When I come to a human heart in Holy Communion, My hand are full of all kinds of graces which I want to give to the soul. But souls do not even pay any attention to Me; they leave Me to Myself and busy themselves with other things. Oh; how sad I am that souls do not recognize Love!”                                                                                         Diary 1385

The Eucharist is Alive

There is a problem: souls do not even pay any attention to Me:

Not everyone can experience Jesus in the Eucharist because Jesus wants only those who love Him to find Him.

“When I come to a human heart in Holy Communion, My hands are full of all kinds of graces which I want to give to the soul. But souls do not even pay any attention to Me; they leave Me to Myself and busy themselves with other things. Oh, how sad I am that souls do not recognize Love! They treat Me as a dead object“.     Diary 1385

Jesus is very clear: “Anyone who loves Me will obey My teaching. My Father will love them, and We will come to them and make Our home with them.”                                                                                                      John 14:23

The words used,” the Body  of Christ” by the celebrant may leave an impression that the Eucharist is not alive, yet it’s not a wafer; it’s not bread. It’s a real Person and He’s alive. Should this not demand more respect and reverence for the Eucharist at the time of receiving it?

Receiving Him with this awareness, makes us more alive and we will agree with St. Paul: “I no longer live, but Christ lives in me.”                                                                                                                                                   Galatians 2:20

“See, I have left My heavenly throne to become united with you. What you see is just a tiny part and already your soul swoons with love. How amazed will your heart be when you see Me in all My glory. But I want to tell you that eternal life must begin already here on earth through Holy Communion. Each Holy Communion makes you more capable of communing with God throughout eternity.”                           Diary 1810

Where the Father and the Son are present, the Holy Spirit is also there. So when we receive Holy Communion, the Father and the Holy Spirit become present with Christ — not sacramentally, but in a complete way.  Jesus, when You come to me in Holy Communion, You who together with the Father and the Holy Spirit have deigned to dwell in the little heaven of my heart…                                                            Diary 486

Once after Holy Communion, St. Faustina heard these words: You are Our dwelling place. At that moment, I felt in my soul the presence of the Holy Trinity, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.                                                                                                                                Diary 451

Her union with the Lord was, in His words, as a bride: Here, I am entirely yours, soul, body and divinity as Your Bridegroom. You know what love demands, one thing only, reciprocity.” (Diary 1770). What she experienced during Holy Communion was a complete union with the Holy Trinity: “At that moment, I was drawn into the bosom of the Most Holy Trinity, and I was immersed in the love of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.                                                       Diary 1670, 1121,1129

“The most solemn moment of my life is the moment when I receive Holy Communion and for every Holy Communion I give thanks to the Most Holy Trinity”.                                                                                               Diary 1804

Every morning during meditation, I prepare myself for the whole day’s struggle. Holy Communion assures me that I will win the victory; and so it is. I fear the day when I do not receive Holy Communion. This Bread of the Strong gives me all the strength I need to carry on my mission and the courage to do whatever the Lord asks of me.                                                                                            Diary 91

After receiving Communion, many of the saints would spend and extended time of thanksgiving during which they would receive great insights and often go into ecstasy.

St. Padre Pio, who claimed to have received stigmata while making his thanksgiving after Communion, wrote: “When Mass was over I remained with Jesus in thanksgiving. Oh how sweet was the colloquy with paradise that morning! It was such that, although I want to tell you all about it, I cannot. … The heart of Jesus and my own — allow me to use the expression — were fused. No longer were two hearts beating but only one. My own heart had disappeared, as a drop of water is lost in the ocean. Jesus was its paradise, its king. My joy was so intense and deep that I could bear it no more and tears of happiness poured down my cheeks.”

Thomas was so moved with reverence, he said, “My Lord and my God!” John 20:28  What a miracle we experience today in the Holy Eucharist!

The Spiritual Communion

The Eucharist is the ongoing fulfillment of Christ’s Gospel promise to remain with us: “And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”                                                                                                    Matthew 28:20

St. Catherine of Sienna records a vision in which Christ Himself taught her the value of a spiritual Communion. She saw Christ holding two chalices: One chalice was made of gold the other was made of silver. Our Lord explained to St. Catherine that He kept her sacramental communions in the gold chalice and her spiritual communions in the silver chalice. He then told her that both types of communions were pleasing to Him.

So here is the secret: “The manner of receiving this sacrament is twofold, spiritual and sacramental.  The effect of a sacrament can be secured if it is received by desire.”  St. Thomas Aquinas There is no limit to the number of times you can receive  Communion spiritually; He is not talking about “instead of”, but “in addition to”.  It is all about union with God.

“Jesus, when You come to me in Holy Communion, You who together with the Father and the Holy Spirit have deigned to dwell in the little heaven of my heart, I try to keep You company throughout the day, I do not leave You alone for even a moment.”                                            Diary 486

The theme of the presence of Jesus living in the soul appears many times on the pages of the Diary.       “I am aware that You are dwelling in me, together with the Father and the Holy Spirit, or rather I am aware that it is I who am living in You, O incomprehensible God. …O my God, I have come to know You within my heart, and I have loved You above all things that exist on earth or in heaven” (Diary 478). She compared her soul to a tabernacle, wherein the living Host is reserved  Diary 1302

Eventually, she began to experience the real presence of Jesus constantly, from one Holy Communion to the next. “I have come to know,” she wrote, toward the end of her life, “that Holy Communion remains in me until the next Holy Communion” (Diary 1302). “The soul receiving this unprecedented grace of union with God cannot say that it sees God face to face, because even here there is a very thin veil of faith, but so very thin that the soul can say that it sees God and talks with Him.”                                                                                                         Diary 770, 771

“O Jesus concealed in the Host, my sweet Master and faithful Friend, how happy my soul is to have such a Friend who always keeps me company. (Diary 877) “Oh, how happy I am to be a dwelling place for You, O Lord! My heart is a temple in which You dwell continually.”                                                                                                                                       Diary 1392

Frequency is more important than duration. St. Leonard of Port Maurice explains: “If you practice the holy exercise of spiritual Communion several times every day, within a month you will see your heart completely changed.”

This union with His children is God’s great desire, but He won’t force it on us. He waits for us to ask.     So, say your own version of a prayer, like

“Lord, Jesus, I believe in You;                                                             I trust You;                                                                                           I love You;

In the Name of Jesus, come into my heart.                   Thank you for the Blood and Water                                     that gushes forth from Your Heart.

Throughout her diary, St. Faustina recorded the strength she received from the Eucharist  Throughout the day she adored Jesus, praising and asking Him for graces.                                              Diary 1821

To love God, not because of powerful institutions, or even because God commands it but to do so in an act of unencumbered freedom, is the very source of mystical relation.

You may already have experienced an inward state of peace and joy and assurance indescribably intense, accompanied with a sense of being.

Coming with Joy to Receive Him in Holy Communion

“I love you.

I appeared on earth for forty days after I rose from the dead to strengthen the faith of the Apostles and to finish teaching them. When these forty days were over, I ascended into heaven and disappeared from sight.

As the Son of God, I am everywhere and I am present in the Eucharist in all the tabernacles of the world. Eucharistic adoration is now spreading in many parts of the world. I will consider as My special friends all those who come and spend time with Me in the Eucharist. There will be many vocations to the priesthood and the religious life in those dioceses where I am adored in the Eucharist.”

Do you all believe that I am truly present both in the host and in the chalice after the consecration at Mass?

I taught the Apostles and I am teaching you today that at the Last Supper I changed the bread and wine into My very body and blood.

I instituted the Eucharist so I could live in your hearts and transform you. It is necessary that you make an act of faith in My presence in the Eucharist because I have said so and I am truthful.

I have urged you before and I urge you again today to read John Chapter 6 where the full teaching on the Eucharist is given. I am your food for your journey to the Father. Eat My Body and drink My Blood. I love you.”

The above messages came to Father Melvin Doucette:

Fr. Melvin Doucette was ordained to the priesthood on and joined the Missionaries of Africa for 29 years in Africa. In contemplative prayer every morning, Fr. Doucette receives by interior locution “messages from heaven” to share with the public.

God divinely inspired the BIBLE . How do we know? Each of eight accurate predictions  show a high probability mathematically. The probability of one individual fulfilling eight prophecies have odds of 1 in 10 17  (1 in 100,000,000,000,000,000). Jesus Christ fulfilled all prophecies, therefore the Bible MUST BE TRUE.

The Old Testament indicates another 40 astonishing predictions.

Christianity experiences stunning growth—from approximately 3.8 million adherents in China in 1956 to an estimated 87 to 100 million Christians today.

In the end, one Christian conversion will benefit the whole family.  The gifts of the Holy Spirit of healing and deliverance will help the whole family. A prayer of deliverance of evil spirits will leave any member of the family with a complete sense of peace immediately. A prayer of healing from a Christian disciple produces 80% healing. The remaining healing comes from continued prayer of praise and thanksgiving until all the healing is complete. This healing comes from the Holy Spirit through the power in the Name of Jesus Christ.  No other god or deity or doctor uses this power. This proves the TRUTH OF CHRISTIANITY.

Christianity and Hinduism Differences

Christianity is not a philosophy, but it is  a relationship with God, your Creator,  in Christ TODAY. It is not knowledge of abstract principles.  How do we know this? Healing takes place TODAY in the Name of Jesus Christ.

Many Christian disciples use the gift of healing.  They also use deliverance to deliver away evil spirits influencing people. These evil spirits cause depression, addictions and illness through all forms of stress.  Only the Name of Jesus Christ makes healing and deliverance possible.Chinese Religion God

Jesus is alive today! He heals today (through His followers) and in many cases it is realized immediately. How else can you explain the explosion of Christianity, the world’s largest religion, on earth: 2.2 billion adherents, nearly a third (31 percent) of all 6.9 billion people on Earth.

Christians know and feel His Presence; they communicate with Him personally; Christian prayers are always answered.

This author has been given the Gift of Healing only because he is a Christian Lay Missionary, who travels  two to three places every year. On his last trip to Columbia he successfully transferred his Gift to his Spanish translators, who were able to heal as he did. He has healed Muslims to their great surprise.

He also delivers away evil spirits along with their healing. All those who are delivered from evil spirits feel a complete physical  sense of peace.

God can give a message to those non-Christians to change their heart.  God knows faith will be developed eventually. God will come to you in the form of dreams or visions. So be sensitive to any dreams or visions, when you ask God for it earnestly.
