Why hasn’t the Glory of the Holy Spirit visited charismatic churches in a big way?

Dynamic Christianity is not merely joy and glory: it is actual and practical power through the glory of the Holy Spirit. We are without strength and we have the deepest need for spiritual power: “all the power is given unto Me in heaven and earth” Matthew 28:18

Power of the Holy Spirit

  1. Many of these churches do not know the importance of anointing, fasting and praying in preparation for the presence of the Holy Spirit. Every dynamic parish needs prayerful giants, who come from the core membership.
  2. Christian Executive Leadership is required, who have the gift of healing with other gifts from the team. These leaders are Christian Lay Missionaries who are obeying the Great Commission.
  3. Many of these churches are not accomplishing the Great Commission themselves: “Go into the entire world and proclaim the good news; … by using My name, they will cast out demons; … they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will recover.”                                                                                                                       Mark 16:15-18:

  1. Preparing for the anointing of the Holy Spirit and the Glory of God:
  • At Pentecost, the apostles prayed together with the only prayer they knew, “The Our Father”: they prayed over and over again for the coming of the Holy Spirit
  • The whole church membership (especially the core members) must prepare for this anointing: a 21 day Daniel fast of something that hurts:”no pleasant bread”. Daniel 1:5-16 and outwardly by fasting and abstinence from all carnal comforts and delights”Leviticus 23:27,
  • Special prayers by members asking for the Glory of God to descend: Acts 2:2Anointing of Holy Spirit
  • The church leaders shall walk around the area that is to be anointed in preparation for the Glory of God: seven times.                                                                                                                       Joshua 6:15-20
  1. Impartation of Gifts to disciples: “For I am longing to see you so that I may share with you some spiritual gift to strengthen you.” Romans 1:11, which is done in advance of the first anointed assembly.
  • Literature prepared for Anointed Assembly of the Holy Spirit: in the form of Ticket to Heaven with dates at the bottom
  • Impartation to new Healing Ministers: those who eventually wish to become lay missionaries and who have always had a heart for healing
  • Body of the Service of first anointed assembly

BAPTIZED IN THE HOLY SPIRIT” …you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.”                                 Acts 1: 5

Paul’s main argument is this: isn’t it true that you experienced the work of the Spirit among you.  “… does God give you His Spirit and work miracles among you by the works of the law, or by your believing what you heard?”                                                           Galatians :1-5

“I will send you what my Father has promised, but you must stay in Jerusalem until you have received that power from heaven.”                                                                                                                                             Luke 24: 49

“And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Counselor to be with you forever. He is the Spirit of truth. The world is unable to receive Him because it doesn’t see Him or know Him. But you do know Him, because He remains with you and will be in you.”                                                                                                                                         John 14:16-17

We know that we live in Him and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit.”                                                                                      1 John 4:13

Christians begin to experience something different in their  God prefers to give the gift of prophecy to a body through an individual, not to an individual for his own use. So that each spiritual gift is a working of the Spirit which is given to build up the Church. “For we were all baptized by one Spirit so as to form one body… and we were all given the one Spirit to drink.”      Corinthians12:13

“And John came and laid hands on them ‘and they received the Holy Spirit Acts 8:17 Some experienced a deep peace or joy.  Some even laughed. Some experienced one’s whole life begins to change completely different.

” 4Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit...

 8For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;

 9To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;

 10To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:  11 But all these worketh that one and the self same Spirit.”                        1 Corinthians 12:4,8-11

Paul emphasizes the need to seek spiritual gifts. A community of Christians need special gifts from God to know the Bible in order to preach it. They need to have their preaching accompanied by signs so that others will believe.

And he preached, saying, One cometh after me, that latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to stoop down and loose. 8. I indeed have baptized you with water: but He shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost.”  Mark 1:7-8  In other words, Jesus is the baptizer with the Holy Spirit.
