THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST
Ministry is acting in the Name of Jesus. When all our actions are in the Name, they will bear fruit for eternal life.
To act in the Name of Jesus, however, doesn’t mean to act as a representative of Jesus or his spokesperson. It means to act in an intimate communion with him.
The Name is like a house, a tent, a dwelling. To act in the Name of Jesus, therefore, means to act from the place where we are united with Jesus in love.
To the question “Where are you?” we should be able to answer, “I am in the Name.” Then, whatever we do cannot be other than ministry because it will always be Jesus himself who acts in and through us.
The final question for all who minister is “Are you acting in the Name of Jesus?”” When we can say yes to that, our lives will become ministry.

CAN ONE HAVE JESUS WITHOUT THE CHURCH?
It was only when Israel refused to believe in Christ that the early community began the process of defining its identity as the new Israel, separate from the old.
“You are Peter and on this rock I will build my Church” Matthew 16: 18 is used to indicate that Jesus established the Church at a definite point in time. But note that Jesus says, “I will build” — in other words, the Church will be firmly founded on Peter. Jesus had an idea of the founding of the Church as a process.
The Church is also a creation of the Spirit, who lives in the Church and guides it to the fullness of truth and unites its members in a unity of fellowship and service, bestowing on it various gifts that enable it to carry out its mission.
The Risen Christ inaugurated the Church by pouring out on his disciples the Spirit promised by the Father and endowing the Church with the same mission he had: to proclaim and establish the Kingdom of God.
Dynamic Catholicism: A Historical Catechism Bokenkotter, Thomas.
Evil spiritual forces are at the root of many of the temptations, failures, and difficulties we encounter in our lives. Yet God has equipped us with weapons to overcome the work of evil spirits. This involves casting out evil spirits influencing or dwelling in people in the Name of Jesus Christ. God has equipped us with weapons : the most potent of these weapons: the NAME OF JESUS CHRIST.
The authoritative Christian teaching about spiritual warfare is outlined in the following website:
All deliverance is done in the Name of Jesus Christ: “at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth” Philippians 2:10
“And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the Name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.” – Colossians 3: 17
Our goal as Christians is to be like Jesus, our Lord. But who is Jesus? For some reason we continue to think Jesus is some mild-manner man who preached turn -the -other -cheek forgiveness. We picture Him as gentle and caring and someone who is concerned with other people.
Jesus is a far more rounded and inviting person than that. He was certainly forgiving, for example, with the woman who was arrested for adultery. He was genuinely compassionate.
But Jesus was also powerful and unafraid. He is an outraged, honest Man who is utterly free to speak His mind. He criticized the Pharisees for taking seats of honor in the synagogues. He criticized them for loading on their people unendurable burdens that they themselves avoided.
Many Christians do not look at Jesus as a guide for living a healthy , whole and fulfilling life. They don’t reflect on Him as a guide fro acting with integrity and compassion at their workplace. They don’t even look to Him during life’s moments of assault or loss.
They have a sense of Him as the distant Son of God who has nothing to do with their painful and baffling existence. So Christ remains in the background of their lives. to be remembered twice on Christmas and Easter.
Even worst, some who say they are fallen away Christians don’t want to live all those rules. They say, ” there’s more to life than that”. So Christ’s message has been distorted: His message has been turned into warnings and rules.
Instead, millions turn every day to self-help books, psychologists, twelve-step program, new age prophets and even popularizers of Buddhism and Islam with their twenty-first century clichés. This eclectic search away from Jesus frequently results in a state of confusion. Their findings are often doomed to superficiality.
G. K. Chesterton wrote, ” The Christian ideal has not been tried and found wanting; it has been found difficult and left untried.” The proper response is to rediscover the relevance of Jesus’ life and teachings. He is the one sent by God to show us who we are and who we can be and show us the way to live.
“The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.“ John 1:14
We have to know Jesus so that we can follow Him. We have to listen to the Father as Jesus did in prayer in order to know our purposes in life.
Jesus was wise. He knew that we could fool ourselves into merely thinking we love God. So He provided a criterion and that is our love for our neighbor: “And the second (commandment) is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.” Matthew 22:39
THE SHROUD OF TURIN
A breakthrough discovery on the Shroud of Turin is leading some to believe it really is the actual burial cloth of Jesus Christ. The image of the man on the shroud can be read by 3-D imaging technology. Paintings fail this test.
Heaven is for Real
A young boy emerges from life-saving surgery with remarkable stories of his visit to heaven.
Heaven Is for Real is the true story of the four-year old son of a small town Nebraska pastor who during emergency surgery slips from consciousness and enters heaven. He survives and begins talking about being able to look down and see the doctor operating and his dad praying in the waiting room. The family didn’t know what to believe but soon the evidence was clear.
Colton said he met his miscarried sister, whom no one had told him about, and his great grandfather who died 30 years before Colton was born, then shared impossible-to-know details about each. He describes the horse that only Jesus could ride, about how “reaaally big” God and his chair are, and how the Holy Spirit “shoots down power” from heaven to help us, and how Colton was able to pray for his father on earth .
Told by the father, but often in Colton’s own words, the disarmingly simple message is heaven is a real place, Jesus really loves children, and be ready, there is a coming last battle.
The most realistic picture of Jesus Christ according to Colton.
Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ appeared to this simple nun, St. Faustina, bringing a wonderful message of Mercy:
Today I was in heaven, in spirit, and I saw its inconceivable beauties and the happiness that awaits us after death. I saw how all creatures give ceaseless praise and glory to God. I saw how great is happiness in God, which spreads to all creatures, making them happy; and then all the glory and praise which springs from this happiness returns to its source…This source of happiness is unchanging in its essence, but it is always new, gushing forth happiness for all creatures. Now I understand Saint Paul, who said, “Eye has not seen, nor has ear heard, nor has it entered into the heart of man what God has prepared for those who love Him”. 1 Corinthians 2:9 Diary 777
JESUS WISHES TO SPEAK TO YOU.
Our Strong Friendship will Sustain you for any Problem.
“I embrace you.
Let us continue our walk together. Our strong friendship will sustain you and help you through any problem you may face.
My people, it is not the glamour of the world, or money, or material things that is important. These will disappear or get old and be discarded one day.
What will last for all eternity is your relationship with Me, your love for your brothers and sisters, and all your good deeds.
Through the various experiences of life, which can be painful at times, you will learn to rely on Me and come to realize that you are powerless without My strength.
Your ego, your pride, will have to diminish, and I, your Savior, must grow in your heart. I need to become the most important person in your life. Your life must be linked completely with Me. I need to be in you and you in Me and this indwelling should grow every day. My indwelling in your heart will enrich your life and fulfill it.
You need, though, to make an effort to come and spend time with Me each day. We have to be great friends. You are My friends if you listen and act on My words. I love you.”
The above messages came to Father Melvin Doucette:
Fr. Melvin Doucette was ordained to the priesthood on and joined the Missionaries of Africa for 29 years in Africa. In contemplative prayer every morning, Fr. Doucette receives by interior locution “messages from heaven” to share with the public.
God divinely inspired the BIBLE . How do we know? Each of eight accurate predictions show a high probability mathematically. The probability of one individual fulfilling eight prophecies have odds of 1 in 10 17 (1 in 100,000,000,000,000,000). Jesus Christ fulfilled all prophecies, therefore the Bible MUST BE TRUE.
The Old Testament indicates another 40 astonishing predictions.
Christianity experiences stunning growth—from approximately 3.8 million adherents in China in 1956 to an estimated 87 to 100 million Christians today.
In the end, one Christian conversion will benefit the whole family. The gifts of the Holy Spirit of healing and deliverance will help the whole family. A prayer of deliverance of evil spirits will leave any member of the family with a complete sense of peace immediately. A prayer of healing from a Christian disciple produces 80% healing. The remaining healing comes from continued prayer of praise and thanksgiving until all the healing is complete. This healing comes from the Holy Spirit through the power in the Name of Jesus Christ. No other god or deity or doctor uses this power. This proves the TRUTH OF CHRISTIANITY.
BILLIONS OF CHRISTIANS CAN’ T ALL BE WRONG!
Christianity is not a philosophy, but it is a relationship with God, your Creator, in Christ TODAY. It is not knowledge of abstract principles. How do we know this? Healing takes place TODAY in the Name of Jesus Christ.
Many Christian disciples use the gift of healing. They also use deliverance to deliver away evil spirits influencing people. These evil spirits cause depression, addictions and illness through all forms of stress. Only the Name of Jesus Christ makes healing and deliverance possible.
HOW IS JESUS STILL ALIVE TODAY?
Jesus is alive today! He heals today (through His followers) and in many cases it is realized immediately. How else can you explain the explosion of Christianity, the world’s largest religion, on earth: 2.2 billion adherents, nearly a third (31 percent) of all 6.9 billion people on Earth.
Christians know and feel His Presence; they communicate with Him personally; Christian prayers are always answered.
This author has been given the Gift of Healing only because he is a Christian Lay Missionary, who travels two to three places every year. On his last trip to Columbia he successfully transferred his Gift to his Spanish translators, who were able to heal as he did. He has healed Muslims to their great surprise.
He also delivers away evil spirits along with their healing. All those who are delivered from evil spirits feel a complete physical sense of peace.
DREAMS AND VISIONS
God can give a message to those non-Christians to change their heart. God knows faith will be developed eventually. God will come to you in the form of dreams or visions. So be sensitive to any dreams or visions, when you ask God for it earnestly.
HAVE YOU EVER WONDERED HOW TO BECOME A CHRISTIAN?
- Christians don’t shout, “I live a clean life!” Christians whisper “I feel lost, but now God found me and God forgives me.”
- Christians don’t speak with pride. They confess that they stumble and need Christ to be their guide.
- Christians don’t say,” I’m strong.” They say they try to be strong because they need strength.
- Christians don’t brag about success, but they admit that they fail and they need God to clean the mess.
- Christians don’t claim to be perfect, but God still believes in them.
- Christians still feel the sting of pain. They have their share of headaches but they still call upon His Name.
- Christians are not holier than others. They are simple sinners who receive God’s unbelievable Grace.
Christianity on a Table Napkin:
“If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” Romans 10:9
God the Father will wipe every tear from our eyes, and there shall be no more death or mourning, crying out or pain. We will be like Him, for we will see Him as He is The Holy Spirit will have made all things new. Eternal joy will begin. “For the Mighty One has done great things for me— holy is His name.” Luke 1: 49
Are we not like Barabbas who was justly condemned for murder, but saved by the innocent Jesus on the cross? Are we not like the adulterous woman, deserving of death by stoning, to whom Jesus says, “I do not condemn you”? And Jesus saved them both. In fact, Jesus came to earth specifically to look for and save those who were lost, like you.
“Come now, let us settle the matter,” says the LORD, “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool”. Isaiah 1:18
You may need some counseling with a pastor, priest or competent Christian worker, who will introduce you to a Short Course on Who is Jesus? Start by reading a short biography of Jesus in the Gospel of Luke. Read several verses before going to bed and read the same verse upon arising. He will defend you from attacks of the enemy when you ask Him.
