My Lord, I love you:  say it many times. God loves to hear it. Say it a thousand times a day and every morning when you rest in the Lord.  How wonderful it is for God to hear you call Him, ‘Father’.”

Vassula, since you know now how much you depend on Me your God. Will you be praying more? I love your simple words, say to Me,

I love You Lord,

I breathe for You, I smile for You,

I hope in You, I believe in You,

You are my joy, my bounce, my peace. ”                      March 8, 1988

Vassula writes down the messages which she receives in a stately handwriting, quite distinct from her own.  She hears, interiorly, a voice first, then , when she has to write down what she has heard, her writing changes.

The Unceasing Prayer: “Tell Me, ‘I love you Jesus, you are my joy, my breathe, my rest, my sight, my smile,’  daughter, were you given time to think and meditate you would please Me furthermore; you will from now on seek Me in silence, love Me in absolute silence, pray in silence, enter My Spiritual World in silence”                                      May 31, 1987

Help me Father and lead me to Your pastures of repose,                 Where everlasting pure love flows                                                                       Be My Light to show me the Way;                                                                   With You, by Your side will I walk                                                                           With You illuminating me, will I talk.                                                         Father, Beloved, remain within me to have Peace,                                    To feel Your Love.                                                                                                               I will follow you in Your footprint,                                                                         With You I will remain;                                                                                      Enlighten me, love me,                                                                                                      Be with me here and forever after. Amen            September 27, 1986

My Father, lead me wherever Your will wishes me to go.                      Allow me to live in Your Light and warm my heart,                                      That it may glow,                                                                                                              Giving warmth on those who approach me.                                            Blessed be Your Name,                                                                                              For giving me all these Graces,                                                                                     In spite of my nothingness.                                                                                   Blessed be Your Name,                                                                                                 For the Good You have done to me,                                                                         And the Mercy You have shown me,                                                               Lifting me near Your Heart. Amen.                                           May 1, 1987

Understand how I work, but feel Me, let Me hear you talk to Me, remember Me; never will I let anything come before Me; I am First; polishing your soul will make it shine like gold … but have Me in mind always.”                                                                                         July 18, 1987

God would want you to concentrate more on Him. Conversing with God is Prayer.  One can make this more of a reality by speaking in terms of weandus, to show that one is united to God daily: “we are one.”  When you have a coffee, you have coffee for two. It is always “we” or “us” who are having coffee.

“Remember My Presence; do you know how much I desire this meditation upon My Presence? My Presence is also a very important Mystery that most of you seem to forget; meditate on My Presence; children, whom I love with an everlasting love, please Me by remembering My actual Presence; train yourselves by using these words, we, us, you and I, I and you, us; include Me in your activities, in your discussions and in your thoughts; respect My Presence, never forgetting that I am the Holy One; by remembering Me, you will sin less knowing and remembering that I Am with you.”  October 24, 1988

“Many of you pray; but your prayers do not reach Me; learn how to pray, let Me feel you; many prayers are spilled on earth, never reaching Me;   You mean lip-service, Lord?   Yes, I mean lip service.”                                                                                                                                             February 19, 1988

Here are the prayers Jesus recommends us to pray daily:

Novena of Confidence to the Sacred Heart

O Lord, Jesus Christ
To Your Most Sacred Heart,
I confide this intention…
(Here mention your request)
Only look upon me
Then do what Your Heart inspires…
Let Your Sacred Heart decide…
I count on It… I trust in It…
I throw myself on Its Mercy…

Lord Jesus! You will not fail me,
Sacred Heart of Jesus, I trust in Thee.
Sacred Heart of Jesus,
I believe in Thy love for me.
Sacred Heart of Jesus, Thy Kingdom Come.

O Sacred Heart of Jesus,
I have asked for many favors,
but I earnestly implore this one.
Take it, place it in Thy Sacred Heart.
When the Eternal Father sees it covered with Thy Precious Blood,
He will not refuse it.
It will no longer be my prayer but Thine, O Jesus.

O Sacred Heart of Jesus,
I place my trust in Thee,
Let me never be confounded. Amen.

Prayer to St. Michael the Archangel

St. Michael the Archangel,
defend us in the day of battle,
be our safeguard against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray,
and do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host,
by the Power of God,
cast into hell Satan and all the other evil spirits,
who prowl through the world
seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.

The Memorare of St. Bernard

O Most Gracious Virgin Mary
that never was it known
that anyone who fled to Thy protection,
implored Thy help and sought Thy intercession,
was left unaided.

Inspired with this confidence,
I fly unto Thee,
O Virgin of virgins, my Mother!
to Thee I come, before Thee I stand,
sinful and sorrowful.

O Mother of the Word Incarnate!
dislike not my petitions,
But in Thy Mercy,
hear and answer me. Amen.”

I will Renew you Completely.

“I love you, My friend, who believe with great conviction that I am your Savior and Lord.

You have a thirst for My words, My teachings, and you spend time reading religious and holy books. If you love Me, you will come to know Me and listen to My words especially My words in the Gospels.

When you pray, pray from your heart, I need prayers that come from your heart and not from your lips; do not pray quickly, recollect yourselves and pray slower, looking at Me: I am Present, let your prayers reach Me;

Learn to be in constant prayer, by this I do not mean to have you on your knees endless hours, no, but just in remembering My Presence, you will be in constant prayer; your minds will be lifted towards Me; all that you say, or do, or think will be for Me.

I want you all to renew your love for Me. I make all things new. If you allow Me, I will renew your heart and strengthen your faith.

I wish to renew your minds by removing all that is not of Me. May you be filled with thoughts of lasting value especially about spiritual realities and not just about material things and pleasure.

I predicted My Passion and Death many times while I was on earth. I knew this because of what the Father told Me in prayer. It is very important for you all to pray especially to have this heart to heart prayer with Me.

You have to open your interior faculties in order to be close to Me. Your interior eyes have to be opened so I can show you spiritual realities. Your ears of the heart have to be opened to hear My little voice in your heart. I will speak to your heart if you listen to Me.

Spend time with Me in prayer and I will renew you completely in mind, heart and spirit. Ask and you shall receive. I embrace you all.”

The above messages came to Father Melvin Doucette:

Fr. Melvin Doucette was ordained to the priesthood on and joined the Missionaries of Africa for 29 years in Africa. In contemplative prayer every morning, Fr. Doucette receives by interior locution “messages from heaven” to share with the public.

Why Pray? 2

The civilization that had produced cities, libraries, and observatories and opened itself to the world had now regressed and become closed, resentful, violent, and hostile to discourse and innovation.

What happened? It is permissible … to ask oneself why Arab civilization, after having thrown such a live light on the world, suddenly became extinguished; why this torch has not been relit since; and why the Arab world still remains buried in profound darkness.

The Islamic turn away from scholarship can be traced back to the rise of the anti-philosophical Ash’arism school among Sunni Muslims, who comprise the vast majority of the Muslim world. The ethos in the Islamic world was increasingly opposed to original scholarship and any scientific inquiry that did not directly aid in religious regulation of private and public life. The Ash’arites believed the Koran to be co-equal with God and therefore unchallengeable.

God wills every single atomic event and God’s will is not bound up with reason. Were it God’s will, we would even have to practice idolatry. It is not difficult to see how this doctrine could lead to dogma and eventually to the end of free inquiry in science and philosophy. Reason, because it teaches us to discover, question, and innovate, was the enemy. Al-Ghazali argued that in assuming necessity in nature, philosophy was incompatible with Islamic teaching: after al-Ghazali there was no more science worth mentioning in Islamic countries.

A similar ossification occurred in the realm of law. The first four centuries of Islam saw vigorous discussion and flexibility regarding legal issues; this was the tradition of ijtihad, or independent judgment and critical thinking. But by the end of the eleventh century, the “gates of ijtihad” were closed for Sunni Muslims: ijtihad was seen as no longer necessary, since all important legal questions were regarded as already answered. New readings of Islamic revelation became a crime. All that was left to do was to submit to the instructions of religious authorities.

To prevent anyone from coming back on this decision, the ulema of the time decreed that “the door of ijtihad” was now closed. This means that any critical thinking effort that might question such a decision was forever prohibited.

The many attempts to reform Islam throughout its history have come up against this decree, which is considered immutable and irreversible. The great Sudanese Sheikh, Mahmoud Taha, for having proposed to reverse the doctrine of abrogating and repealing it, favoring the Mekkois verses to the Medinans, was hanged on the main square in Khartoum on January 18, 1985.

But is Ash’arism the deepest root of Arabic science’s demise?

The lack of a scientific curriculum in medieval madrassas reflects a deeper absence of a capacity or willingness to build legally autonomous institutions. Madrassas were legally obligated to follow the religious commitments of their founders. And madrassas nearly always excluded study of anything besides the subjects that aid in understanding Islam: Arabic grammar, the Koran, the hadith, and the principles of sharia. These were often referred to as the “Islamic sciences. Furthermore, the rigidity of the religious curriculum in madrassas contributed to the educational method of learning by rote; even today, repetition, drill, and imitation — with chastisement for questioning or innovating.

By way of contrast, European universities were legally autonomous, they could develop their own rules, scholarly norms, and curricula. A spirit of skepticism and inquisitiveness moved theologians and philosophers.

To demonstrate the difference in thinking,  the printing press was in use since 1460 in the West, it was not introduced in the Islamic world until 1727. The Arabic world was very slow in finding uses for academic technological devices.

Forty-six Muslim countries combined contribute today just one percent of the world’s scientific literature. You may be alive today because of the advances of medicine in the past fifty years. Among the hundreds of inventions and technology improvements with a few exceptions, not one originated in the Muslim world.

In trying to explain the Islamic world’s intellectual laggardness, it is tempting to point to the obvious factors: authoritarianism, bad education, and underfunding. That, in turn, is attributable to its failure to reconcile faith and reason. With a couple of exceptions, every country in the Middle Eastern parts of the Muslim world has been ruled by an autocrat, a radical Islamic sect, or a tribal chieftain. Islam has no tradition of separating politics and religion.

Islamism, the cause of violence that the world is now agonizingly familiar with, arises from doctrines characterized by a deep nostalgia for the Islamic classical period.  It badly needs change in areas such as sexual equality, the rule of law, and free civil life.FADED GOLDEN AGE

When compared to modern Western standards, the Golden Age of Arabic science was decidedly not a Golden Age of equality. Jews and Christians were subjected to official second-class sociopolitical status beginning in Mohammed’s time, and Abbasid-era oppressions also included religious persecution and the eradication of churches and synagogues. The Golden Age was also an era of widespread slavery of persons deemed to be of even lower class.

Women too are treated as second class citizens and are bound by ancient laws that have no place in the modern world.

There is a final reason why it makes little sense to exhort Muslims to their own past: while there are many things that the Islamic world lacks, pride in heritage is not one of them. What is needed in Islam is less self-pride and more self-criticism. Prejudice toward Muslims has evolved into a political tradition of belligerent self-pity and this is undoubtedly one of Islam’s biggest obstacles. It makes information that contradicts orthodox belief irrelevant.

Not all Muslims are Islamists, but all Islamists are Muslims.

The jihadists themselves invoke Muhammad, the “beautiful example” (Quran, XXXIII, 21). They explain that with more rudimentary means than today, Muhammad did the same thing they did: to kill his opponents, torture the treasurer of a vanquished tribe, etc.. They will look in his biography the story of a young warrior, Umayr Ben al-Humam, who threw himself on top enemies in numbers to enter the paradise promised. He did not have an explosive belt, but his attitude is very similar to that of today’s suicide bombers.

The aim of the terrorists seems to be to trigger a civil war in Europe between the Muslim communities and the rest of the population. They use Islamophobia as a word to silence any critics of Islam.

Muslims find a way to make loud and clear, by word and by behavior, that they disapprove of terrorism. The problem is that no one has authority to represent them. We prefer the “moderates”. But do the media intellectuals who speak on their behalf represent true moderates?

It is high time to recognize that Islam has a problem. A problem it must have the courage to face and try to resolve objectively and lucidly. It is not by burying one’s head in the sand that one can hope to find a solution.

We have no doubt about the sincerity and good will of open and moderate Muslims. But that is not the question. One can be fully sincere while being in error.

It is too easy for Muslims to blame the “corrupt” and “imperialist” West as the source of all their ills.

Muslims have always tended to look for scapegoats everywhere, except in themselves. It is high time that they ask themselves some crucial questions and realize that if they condemn and reject this barbaric radicalism that embarrasses them, they must make a little effort to find the cause.

They will then discover that the cause is found in the founding texts of their religion – Quran, Sunnah, Hadiths – which are full of calls for intolerance, murder and violence.

These texts are still taught today at Azhar, the highest authority of Sunni Islam, responsible for training preachers and scholars around the world. This doctrine reaches the small people through Friday sermons – often incendiary – and reaches the students via textbooks.

Towards the tenth century, Islam had the choice between the mystical, moderate and open way, that of Mecca, and the violent, radical and conquering path, that of Medina. They  unfortunately opted for the second, favoring the Medina verses.

Islam is in a mousetrap, a mousetrap in which it has put itself: a mousetrap from which it cannot get out. The Church has gone through the same crisis. But she managed to overcome it thanks to the Second Vatican Council. It is high time for Islam to do the same.

In conclusion, this situation would have discouraged discussion of the teachings of Jesus since this text is divine. This happened since the 11th century to Islam when it was decreed that the Koran is God’s word and speculation about or discussion of the Koran was prohibited. This 11th century decree marked the decline of Islam to this day because it stunted the quest for analysis and research.

There is a lot of good in Islam. Christians do not come with a spirit of criticism or superiority. We can appreciate teaching that children obey their parents, including many aspects of morality, teaching against alcohol intoxication, opposing fornication and other forms of immorality.

Christians do not want to destroy the Muslim culture and replace it with Christian customs and Christian way of life. We realize that there may be a loss of one’s relationship with their family.

In the end, one’s conversion will benefit the whole family because of the gifts of the Holy Spirit of healing and deliverance available. A prayer of deliverance (of evil spirits) will leave a Muslim member of the family with a complete sense of peace immediately. A prayer of healing from a Christian disciple will bring about 80% healing, and the remaining healing will come about with a convert’s prayer of praise and thanksgiving. This healing comes through the Name of Jesus Christ and no other god or deity. This should be proof enough of the TRUTH OF CHRISTIANITY.

God divinely inspired the BIBLE . How do we know? Each of eight accurate predictions  show a high probability mathematically. The probability of one individual fulfilling eight prophecies have odds of 1 in 10 17  (1 in 100,000,000,000,000,000). Jesus Christ fulfilled all prophecies, therefore the Bible MUST BE TRUE.

The Old Testament indicates another 40 astonishing predictions.

Christianity experiences stunning growth—from approximately 3.8 million adherents in China in 1956 to an estimated 87 to 100 million Christians today.

In the end, one Christian conversion will benefit the whole family.  The gifts of the Holy Spirit of healing and deliverance will help the whole family. A prayer of deliverance of evil spirits will leave any member of the family with a complete sense of peace immediately. A prayer of healing from a Christian disciple produces 80% healing. The remaining healing comes from continued prayer of praise and thanksgiving until all the healing is complete. This healing comes from the Holy Spirit through the power in the Name of Jesus Christ.  No other god or deity or doctor uses this power. This proves the TRUTH OF CHRISTIANITY.

Christianity and Hinduism Differences

Christianity is not a philosophy, but it is  a relationship with God, your Creator,  in Christ TODAY. It is not knowledge of abstract principles.  How do we know this? Healing takes place TODAY in the Name of Jesus Christ.

Many Christian disciples use the gift of healing.  They also use deliverance to deliver away evil spirits influencing people. These evil spirits cause depression, addictions and illness through all forms of stress.  Only the Name of Jesus Christ makes healing and deliverance possible.Chinese Religion God

Jesus is alive today! He heals today (through His followers) and in many cases it is realized immediately. How else can you explain the explosion of Christianity, the world’s largest religion, on earth: 2.2 billion adherents, nearly a third (31 percent) of all 6.9 billion people on Earth.

Christians know and feel His Presence; they communicate with Him personally; Christian prayers are always answered.

This author has been given the Gift of Healing only because he is a Christian Lay Missionary, who travels  two to three places every year. On his last trip to Columbia he successfully transferred his Gift to his Spanish translators, who were able to heal as he did. He has healed Muslims to their great surprise.

He also delivers away evil spirits along with their healing. All those who are delivered from evil spirits feel a complete physical  sense of peace.

God can give a message to those non-Christians to change their heart.  God knows faith will be developed eventually. God will come to you in the form of dreams or visions. So be sensitive to any dreams or visions, when you ask God for it earnestly.

Is the BIBLE true? 2

Here is a passage that comes from a BIBLE ABOUT RELIGION:

“See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and vain deceit, which depends on human tradition and the elemental spiritual forces of this world rather than on Christ.” Colossians 2:8

Let’s analyze this more closely:

See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception [pseudo-intellectual babble], according to the tradition [and musings] of mere men, following the elementary principles of this world, rather than following [the truth—the teachings of] Christ.                                                                  Colossians 2:8

So, one should not accept philosophy of mere speculation and imagination, but of the modest, laborious investigation of facts.

Vain Deceit is, that which is vain and empty, and has no solid foundation, and even deceitful and delusional.

Christianity is not a philosophy, but a relationship with God in Christ TODAYnot knowledge of abstract principles.

How do we know this? Healing takes place TODAY in the Name of Jesus.

What about Muhammad? We only have his circular argument that what he said was true, so it must be true. Jesus performed miracles Surah 3:49; He healed the lepers, gave sight to the blind, and raised the deadSurah 5:110  Did Muhammad heal, give sight, or raise from the dead? When asked about this, he admitted that he could not do these things because he was only a messenger of God.

Here is a passage that comes from a BIBLE:

“See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and vain deceit, which depends on human tradition and the elemental spiritual forces of this world rather than on Christ.” Colossians 2:8
