THREE CATEGORIES OF HELL EXPERIENCE

The problem of evil exists in every single world-view and religious tradition. The devil really has no power over us unless we give it to him. Jesus identified these demons: “You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.”                                                              John 8:44

When we die, unfortunately all our choices become eternal. They have eternal ramifications.

There are three categories of experiences that (Near Death Experience) NDEs have experienced:

HELL EXPERIENCE

  1. HELL ON EARTH: it was like a great battlefield. Everywhere people were locked in what looked like fights to the death, writhing, punching, gouging… “”And throw that worthless servant outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”                                                                      Matthew 25:30
  2. THE PIT being trapped in a dark cave accompanied by a putrid smell like feces, sulfur or death in extreme cold or extreme heat and even fire. The demons resembled humans but they were ugly and grotesque.
  3. THE VOID: described as a falling experience through outer darkness. “It became horrific, no feeling, no sensation, no sense of light. Underground laborers, performed some endless, brutally monotonous task. “I saw hell, and I’m not going back. I want to find the God that pulled me out of hell.”

BUDDHISM & NEAR DEATH EXPERIENCE

near death experience

Are there NEAR DEATH EXPERIENCE in which a Buddhist encountered Buddha? YES!

Dr. Atwater is an international authority on near- death states as well as a near-death experiencer. She is one of the original researchers in the field of near-death studies, having begun her work in 1978. More than 3,000 people are registered at her discussion form site, and we understand that they have one of the largest databases on NDEs in the world.

We challenged them to find even one case of a person of Buddhist faith encountering other beings of light. The implication is that there is only one path to God through Jesus Christ: “I am the Light and the Way”.                                                                                                                   John 14:6

Where arguments arise amongst various people and groups is over the interpretation of that light and any form it make take, and how to regard it.

Scientists say it is endorphins; Muslims say it is fantasy; religious fundamentalists of any “stripe” say it is Satan (Lucifer). People of faith say it is either of God or of emissaries from God.

Numerous experiencers see figures and forms in the light. These are variously described as angels, guides, guardians, light beings (beings made entirely of light), religious figures, high holy ones and often kids call them “the people.”

The vast majority of individuals remain consistent overtime with what they say and do not distort original narratives. That means accusations of New Age jargon, religious prophesy, Christian visions, Western indulgences, or the like, are untrue.

There can be mixups as in the case of Jeanie Dicus. She was a Jewess yet she was visited by Jesus. This so surprised her and confounded her that she promptly challenged Jesus, and continued to do so throughout her entire near-death episode, saying: “I don’t believe in You. Why are You here?”

Atheists report the same type of visitations as do religious folk. In other words, you don’t have to believe in anything to be surprised at what you find when you nearly die.

Where this situation gets fascinating is when you invite experiencers to draw the high holy one/religious figure who visited them. To a person, you cannot tell the difference between a drawing from someone in the State of Wyoming from one done in Thailand or Israel or Russia or China or Nigeria. Patterning holds; differences in patterning only concern a few details of dress and behavior. They certainly don’t look like Buddha.

HINDUISM NEAR DEATH EXPERIENCE

HINDUISM & NEAR DEATH EXPERIENCE

The doctrine that God created the world out of nothing rather than emanating it out of His own substance or merely shaping some pre-existing material is an idea that simply never occurred to anyone but the Jews and those who learned it from them. Everyone else either thought of the gods as part of the world (paganism) or the world as part of God (pantheism).

Hindus and Christians do not worship the same God. There is no meaningful correlation between the God of the Bible and any of the millions of Hindu gods, nor can God be identified with Brahman, the ultimate, divine essence of the universe in Hindu thought.

Hinduism is pantheistic, not theistic. The Christian doctrine that God created the world out of nothing doesn’t even arise. In Hinduism, the world is part of God (pantheism).

The diverse world of Hinduism contains millions of finite gods whose images are worshiped throughout India and in Hindu households throughout the world. When set next to the strict monotheism of Christianity, it seems absurd on its face to suggest that these two religions have the same object of their worship.

For Hindus, religions are human roads up the divine mountain to enlightenment-religion is relative to human need; there is no “one way” or single objective truth. Hindus also believe that there is no “evil,” apart from the failings of human conscience, and Satan doesn’t exist. Nowhere does one mention the possibility of repentance or forgiveness.

HINDUISM CHRISTIANITY

Yet, many Hindu thinkers claim that all of those gods are just expressions of one ultimate god or one true divine essence. Behind the myriad of local deities is really just one transcendent Being, which is not reasonable.  Consequently there has never been a Hindu god identified in a Near Death Experience. No one described anything like Krishna who has blue skin or Siva, who has three eyes.

Otis and Haraldsson, two researchers, studied five hundred Americans and five hundred Indians to determine how much religious conditioning shaped one’s near death experience.

NEAR-DEATH EXPERIENCES

THE 10 NEAR-DEATH EXPERIENCES

NEAR DEATH EXPERIENCE

Our Near Death Experiences showed us that God has prepared a future for you filled with more exhilaration and excitement. It will be the most breathtaking beauty, more love and depth with friends and family than you have ever experienced on earth.

Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,” for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away …He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” Revelation 21:1, 4

How did hundreds of people — doctors, airline pilots, bank presidents , tenured professors– who didn’t need to make up wild stories to make money (and would lose professional credibility doing so),  describe such an amazing similar place.

The prophets like Isaiah were told by God that the new Heaven and new earth will have similarities to the beauty of the present earth, but restored and improved:

“See, I will create
new heavens and a new earth.
The former things will not be remembered,
nor will they come to mind.
But be glad and rejoice forever
    in what I will create,
for I will create Jerusalem to be a delight
    and its people a joy.

They will build houses and dwell in them;
they will plant vineyards and eat their fruit.

Before they call I will answer;
while they are still speaking I will hear.
The wolf and the lamb will feed together,
and the lion will eat straw like the ox,
and dust will be the serpent’s food.
They will neither harm nor destroy
    on all my holy mountain,”
says the Lord.:”                                            Isaiah 65:17,18;24,25

God tells Isaiah His Holy City will be a place of beauty and joy, with plants and trees, vineyards and fruit, mountains and valleys, where all the creatures finally will live in harmony — as we intuitively know it should be.

A FEELING OF OVERWHELMING LOVE

EXHILARATING HEAVEN 2

EXHILARATING HEAVENTHE EXHILARATING FUTURE THAT AWAITS YOU

In his book, IMAGINE HEAVEN, John Burke writes about survivors brought back from near death who lived to tell of both heavenly and hellish experiences. While not every detail of individual NDEs correlate with Scripture, Burke shows how the common experiences shared by thousands of survivors–including doctors, college professors, bank presidents, people of all ages and cultures, and even blind people–point to the exhilarating picture of Heaven promised in the Bible.

EXHILARATING HEAVEN

The consistency of these experiences is amazing. People world-wide almost all experience a very similar ” Being of light” –some know him immediately as Jesus, while others call him by the name of their god, such as certain Indian gods. Continue reading EXHILARATING HEAVEN 2
