The ketogenic diet was originally introduced in 1920. Studies suggest that there are definite short-term benefits of a high-fat ketogenic diet. Sugar and highly refined foods are killing us! It is estimated that in the United States alone approximately 300,000 people die each year from obesity-related diseases.

It has been found that a sugary diet is the root cause of various chronic diseases of the body and it accelerates aging. This is cause be a reduction of the amount of antioxidants in the body. Sugar consumption is positively associated with cancer:  tumors are known to be enormous sugar absorbers.

There are many already healthy individuals adhering to it who may find problems in the long run from a less varied diet. Once your condition has improved, it won’t hurt to widen your menu. When cycling in and out of this diet you can still eat healthy – no processed foods but sweet potatoes, lentils etc are okay.

We know how controversial this issue can be. In a 2004 study, 83 obese patients confirmed that it is also safe to use a ketogenic diet for a longer period of time. The study included the additional micro nutrients (vitamins and minerals) which were given to each subject in the form of one capsule per day.

It’s no secret that most people are overworked, under-rested, and living on a poor diet. It’s also no coincidence that the modern advice to eat a diet high in carbohydrates, low in fat, and with constant snacking or small meals throughout the day has coincided with a rise in diabetes, obesity, and mental issues like anxiety and depression.

Depression is no joke. It’s serious. While the keto diet is touted for its fat-burning effects, there’s growing evidence that it can help a range of diseases, including migraine headaches, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, Epilepsy Autism and Depression.

These also include psychiatric disorders like bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and attention or memory problems.

Doctors know that fasting reduced the amount of seizures, and eating mainly fat and little else mimicked the effect of starvation in the brain: each molecule of ketone (good fat) bodies produces more energy than glucose, but less oxidative stress, so the brain and the muscles work more efficiently.  Most people don’t have the time, money or energy for lengthy diet and training routines. That’s where ketosis came into play: turning your body from storing fat to burning it.

Here is a simple explanation: 

I have had a little five pound pouch that I have been carrying for a few years. I am an avid swimmer; I swim five times a week for a distance of one kilometer (40 lengths x 25 meters).

THE MENTAL HEALTH SOLUTION

 Psychology is slow recognizing how the spirit realm functions. Most of the psychiatric world ridicules belief in demons. Mental disorders do exist and yes Satan is alive and well. 

Both neurobiological and/or spiritual reasons exist for some people with mental illness. There is NO non-spiritual cure for a spiritual problem. There can be, however, a spiritual cure for a non-spiritual problem.

It’s a simple issue. God is the greatest Healer ever known, and He can heal all things, regardless of cause. Man’s healers are limited by their finite power and ability. They can heal some physical/psychological things, some of the time. It therefore stands to reason that God can heal things of both a spiritual nature AND a physical or psychological nature.

Can God not heal a brain disorder, which is not rooted in demonic lies embedded in the memory, but in a structural defect of the brain?This healing is facilitated by saintly or holy Christians, who have a gift of healing because the Holy Spirit pours out His seven gifts to you through them. St. Augustine said, What I live by, I impart.”

Deliverance is another matter. Deliverance beliefs and practices are based on the assumption that both mental and physical ills result from possession of the sufferer by demons, and are to be treated by the expulsion of those demons. Once the lie has been removed, nothing will be able to trigger pain from the wound again, if a spiritual life is pursued. That can only happen with the support of a bible-based Christian community.

Deliverance practitioners claim to treat schizophrenia, ADHD, and Reactive Attachment Disorder, and believe that these problems are related to sins either of the person in treatment or of an ancestor. 

No person, including ourselves, is capable of talking us out of the demonic lies that we believe. Deliverance is required.

The first question that is asked: Does the person believe that an evil force is present?

Few things are more debilitating than migraine headaches. Too many suffer merciless onslaughts. Most people have little understanding of your throbbing pain, nausea/vomiting, sensitivity to light and to sound.  

Most sufferers try to avoid the obvious things that people say can trigger migraines: irregular meal patterns; too much caffeine; variable sleep patterns; excitement; fear; anxiety; stress; weather changes; bright lights; and loud noises. Strong odors also can trigger an attack. So can food additives like MSG and the nitrites in foods like pepperoni pizza, luncheon meats and hot dogs. Many discover that hormone cycles like menstruation, or synthesized products like oral contraceptives and estrogen replacement can increase their risk.

MIGRAINE HEADACHES DELIVERANCE

Here is a testimony of people who suffered from chronic headaches 

The doctors tried many different medications, but the headaches only got worse. The severe headaches turned into migraines.

The migraines were so bad that it was debilitating, often sending me to bed. I could barely lift my head and it was impossible to hold any food down.

I had to sleep in a quiet dark room. I would take several prescription medications to knock me out and pray that when I woke up, the migraine would be gone.

Any kind of stress or anxiety would trigger an attack. As the migraines worsened I started going to the doctors for a shot as soon as I felt one coming on. Eventually the doctor gave me the injection to administer to myself. There were times when I would say, “I would rather go through childbirth than have a migraine”. After trying every painkiller and treatment known, I just accepted migraines as something I had to live with.

Finally, someone found relief:

Deliverance was needed to cast out a demon of migraine and fear of migraine. I realized that the opposite of the fear that triggered my headache was faith. When they cast out the spirits, I felt an immediate change and I knew I was free of headaches. I was also free of the spirit of fear that brought on the migraines. I no longer measure the intervals between attacks. I have begun a new way of life.
